Is this the best ST Bill has had?

We seem to be having some great special team games in the second half of the season. Whether it's blocked FGs, recovered muffs or punt coverage getting a safety.

Think about the specialists we have on this unit in 2017;

Slater, Ebner, Bolden, King, Bademosi, Flowers, Jones, Marsh, Richards etc

We have the league's best starting position following kick offs - averaging at 22.1. Over the course of the game, that's a new set of downs that other teams DON'T have. We have been getting good punt coverage and kick returns as well. Our ST accounted for 17 points against Denver - they would have won the game on their own.

Best ever, or can you think of others? Maybe it's too hard to look beyond what our ST did for us in 2001-2003.

I think with todays rules, the space ghost kicks to the 5 yard line and stopping teams at the 22 are way more impressive than yester years.

 

Speaking of slater, any word on him and his hammy?

Allen has been good yeah, despite a slow start, for me. 

I think in terms of plays, this is a high year. We need a couple more returns for TDs to beat record I think - if we do that, I'm ready to say this is the best ST in Patriots history. Couple the returns with blocked FGs and punts...it's so impressive. Well done Judge, and Bill.
