Right now he's not even on the depth chart but he's in camp. People right now are worried about names ahead of others on the depth chart. It's very possible that the same thing will happen with those that people are worried about being lower on the depth chart. He was listed as a starter because he was practicing with the starters as the RG for 95% of TC. The team went into OTA/TC with the intention of Evans being the RG. It was a big deal when Corbett shifted over and Allen went to C. The Rams and other teams don't just throw random guys into the 1st team OL snaps unless they are having vet days. I honestly cannot tell if actually don't get this or if you are just being intentionally dense. Either way, not worth my time.

I'm saying the depth charts right now mean nothing. They change. They change daily. Right above your last post is a tweet from a Rams reporter saying they've changed three times since release which was what two days ago? These mean nothing and will be changed so there's really nothing to worry about right now from what you're reading on them because they haven't really even begun actual practices. Half the days they've been in camp if not more were light work no pad walk through practices or as Jourdan has described in her tweets meeting on the grass field. I see people were worked up because T Lewis was buried behind even the rookies. Yeah that's already changed. People worried that Skow is our #3 WR. Yeah as soon as Van is ready to go that changes. These don't matter they're going to change hell there might even be more changes before tomorrows game! People were worried because Kyren broke his foot it was going to ruin his rookie season. LOLOL He's playing tomorrow! Relax, don't worry about these depth charts, we don't even know who puts these out and McVay in the past has laughed at questions about the initial depth chart. After a couple weeks of games and actual practices and maybe even joint practices we'll get a better idea. Until then don't worry about or even pay attention to these. LeotheLion
Good stuff from Hardy, McCutcheon, and Rochell and Kendrick in the first half. Bobby Brown also looked really good. Think he has a shot to make the rotation in the 2nd half of the year. Bruss was a bit up and down but it doesn't help playing next to Kologne.
LeotheLion
McCutcheon is a guy. At WR we have Kupp, Robinson, Jefferson, Harris, Tutu, Skowronek, and him. Keeping 7 WRs seems high but I'm not sure he's beating out anyone ahead of him. Although I'd like to see him ahead of Skowronek. And I forgot Powell too. I don't think McCutcheon has a shot at this team which is unfortunate. Edited August 14, 2022 by LeotheLion
MDY10
That Bobby brown injury looked bad. Good chance he’s done for the year. Was really looking forward to seeing him
NVRamsFan
There's some young talent in that secondary it's so nice to see.

I know they liked Skowronek because of his blocking and special teams value, but his hands were very iffy when he played last year. If McCutcheon keeps bringing it, he might just beat him out. 4 hours ago, MDY10 said: That Bobby brown injury looked bad. Good chance he’s done for the year. Glad this is the case

I hope that is the case but the history of this team with the ends of the roster is all about special teams. Which does have some merit but we saw last year when OBJ went down our offense could do nothing because the only WR that mattered was Kupp. McCutcheon looks like he could develop into a solid #3. That said, doesn’t seem like they’re too worried about it at all.
LeotheLion
I think that as fun as Perkins is, this is probably the year that we lose him. It really doesn't make a ton of sense to carry 3 QBs on the roster this year.

Harris/Skowronek could be on the cusp. Harris/Jefferson could start the season on short term IR. I think we could see McCutcheon take Skowronek's spot if he can improve his blocking and grasp of that playbook. My issue with Lance is that the offense with Perkins is nothing like the offense with Stafford so his success may not translate when playing with Stafford, but i loved what I saw. Rrrrrrrams
lewis jumped in the depth chart from third string to starter. lol. good for him. i guess someone on the rams media team was not aware what kinda question could follow up that little detail. i'm not sure it's such a good sign for rochell to play in the preseason. i start to get a burgess/evans-feeling with him. long didn't have to play after his rookie year. and guys like powell and rozeboom, copeland don't play. yikes. plus we are super deep at corner. feels like kendrick, durant and haley are more closer to rochell than rochell is to long. i liked jackson and anchru way more inside than bruss. i mean edwards was bad in his rookie year in the pre season too, but he played t. bruss already jumped inside. hmm. would like to see more of dan isom compared to burgess or carter.
