Never was. The tools don't play up to the hype and never really did. He's spare parts for someone like Juan Soto.

So he's clearly not just a throw-in.

He's a fine headliner or piece in a deal for someone like Frankie Montas but it's a whole different story IRT Soto. He's a fine player but he's nothing to write home about, not for how hyped he was as a prospect. Edited August 1, 2022 by beekay414

Montas might be one of the more overrated players being talked about this deadline.

hrubes20
Boob Nightenale, so it means the Dodgers are out of it. But how stupid would this be?

beekay414
According to BTS, the trade, if headlined by Carlson and Gorman, would need to have Graceffo and Burleson in it to even out the value.

redsoxsuck05
I already said that Carlson and Gorman can be solid, but if they're the freaking headliners for Juan Soto than I would cry.
Leader
Jim Bowden - The Cardinals Dodgers & Padres have all improved their offers to the Nationals regarding a Juan Soto trade and now tomorrow we're going to find out what team really wants him the most. It's time for each of them to add that one more prospect they don't want to add. tick tock
