Broncofan
For Diontae J to take 18M AAV speaks to 2 things IMO: -Worried about a down 2022 season with the present QB situation. -Happy to test market after said transition period at QB and get re-paid. Win-win for both sides IMO. Claypool is almost certainly gone after this season though.

Squanchy
I think it’s a great deal for both parties. Steelers get their guy locked up and DJ gets to test the market while still being in his “prime”. As a Steelers fan I’m actually kind of surprised anything got done.

vegas492
I think he lost money in that deal. Assuming he's healthy going into he off-season, he would been one of the top WR's in that market. Signing for "Kirk" money seems low for him compared to what I think he would have gotten in the offseason. He's already produced, even if he were to have a down year, he would have been fine. That said? I feel like the Steelers made out best on this one.
