Thinking you're not gonna make it to the playoffs at the start of the season =/= criticizing a move when you're currently in the playoff picture halfway through the season.

It's especially bad because Peterman wasn't even good in college.

No, people were saying they won’t make the playoffs two days ago.

Wasn't good in college? 163 QB rating his senior year in a pro offense.... That's better than Watson's QB rating. Peterman also handed the National Champions Clemson there only loss. Peterman won an absolute shootout against Cuse 76 to 61.  Peterman also had over 9 yards an attempt... Again better than Watson's. To say he wasn't good in college is laughable... He just wasn't highly touted being in a pro system instead of a fast pacef west coast offense like all the "good" college QBs

Peterman has similarities between Kirk Cousins and Trevor Siemien. I think he will be between the two. He is a great fit for Dennison's system so we will see

lol This kinda makes me wonder if you actually watched the guy in college or if you're just relying on stat lines. I mean sure he had an occasional really nice game that made you think what if(Clemson game comes to mind), but by in large the guy was average(which was fine for Pitt's offense which relied mostly on James Connor and Henderson in the run game). They ran a largely short pass/check down passing offense(which makes his 60.5% completion percentage even more concerning) and just had him manage most games.

There's a reason why practically every draft profile you read of the guy notes he's a middle round prospect, backup QB/game manager type..cause that's exactly what he performed like in college.

Also lol @ "he's not highly touted because he was in a pro style system" when that's considered a plus by every draft analyst who ever lived.

9 yards an attempt with mostly checkdowns... Ya no. That doesn't happen like that. That just shows that's. They rely on screens a lot in their passing games. That's not Petermans fault thats the coaching. The play calling and play designs. It's not like he was just being a game manager and just checking down the ball to protect it. He was just doing his job and getting the ball to the playmaker like the play calling was designed to.

Petermans draft profiles also called him the most NFL ready. Kirk Cousins draft profiles was similar to Nates. No one thought he wasnt more than anything more than a game manager or backup. I'm sure all his draft profiles say the same thing. If you soley rely on draft profiles then you sir would miss out on some good players, and be let down by a lot of players as well.

Yes it is a good thing to be in a pro scheme but often times it's hard to get your name out there in a non top 25 team in a pro scheme offense

Guess the Bills should just quit because some fans on the internet don’t think they’ll make it.

We know what we are getting with Tyrod, a .500 ceiling. Peterman will be able to do what Tyrod has been able to do with less rushing yards, but also less sacks.

Going with a rookie QB over a veteran QB who has been playing well is a ridiculously stupid move especially now.

Tyrod is  the classic case of the qb that you have to watch play to see how bad/flawed he is. People on twitter or the national media  are taking certain cherry picked individual stats(like they did with another qb) who haven’t watched a down of the bills offense. Dude literally doesn’t throw it past 10 yards unless the guy is WIDE open.

HE HAS NOT BEEN PLAYING WELL HOLY MOLY.

Last week? Nope. For the majority of the season? Hell yes. There are some truly awful QBs in this league and the bills just benched one of the better ones in a playoff race and replaced him with a rookie QB.

The bills are being the bills.

Our defense forcing a crap ton of turnovers the first 7 games is why we are 5-4 not Tyrod.

Tyrod is a dream backup QB, he’s mobile and doesn’t turn the ball over which are two really important necessities for a backup, but man if you guys watch the all 22, you’d see.

I have season tickets so i see a lot of this team live and he misses ALOT of things.

You right 5 games under 200 yards passing and riding a turnover machine defense for 7 games makes you a STUD.

congrats on a high completion percentage to Shady mccoy tho
