Zach Wilson suffers knee injury, early fear is torn ACL

If it's a torn ACL, it'll be interesting to see where Wilson's career goes from here. This year was going to be pivotal for him. If the Jets are picking top 2 or 3, they will have to seriously consider taking a QB, which might mean Wilson being traded elsewhere.

Who'd give up anything substantive at this point, he's played 10 games in his career and been ineffective, if he gets replaced I doubt you get much of anything for him at this point.

The Jets are now faced with a choice, accept that the timeline is ****ed and completely restart again by drafting another QB high.

Or basically treat this year like it didn't happen and hope that Wilson comes back and shows enough year 3 and that Salah can get the defense to be average instead of horrendous.

Or you roll the dice and trade for Jimmy G and see where the pieces lie.

The same FO got a 2nd for Sam Darnold, lol. Someone would give up a Day 2 pick to “fix” Wilson.

That said, I doubt NYJ moves on for 2023.

If Wilson is out for the year and NYJ have a top 3-5 type pick, at least the roster will be better equipped for a rookie QB if that is the route they choose

Garrett Wilson, Moore, Davis, Hall, Ruckert, Conklin

Need to solidify the OL in a few spots.

Not the way the Jets faithful envisioned the season starting. Hoping for Wilson and the Jets faithful that it isn't severe, but if it is, he's able to make a full recovery. Lots of folks are down on him, and he's certainly facing an uphill battle, but rooting for him to beat the odds.
