scar988
Why would the Falcons go OLB in the 2nd when they just took 3 day 2 LBs this year. They need OT with McGary's contract expiring. They should focus on that spot because it's been a weakness.

True but until Malone and Ebiketie prove they are legit starters on the outside it still is an issue, but honestly I kind of forgot they got Malone, he fits the system better than Ebiketie but both could do well and if so sure it is not as big of a need. Because Ogundeji and Carter are not super stars by any means on the edge, Carter is ok but they still need one or both of those rookies to do very well. Does kind of suck Troy Andersen is on the Falcons, with Evans and Deion Jones starting at ILB Andersen might not get a lot of playing time and should honestly start considering how great of an athlete he is. But sure OT could be an issue big time as well.

Sure getting DJ is not ideal but he is a big talented kid and I think he will have a bounce back year. And they have to be thinking beyond Jared Goff at some point, because the future is not David Blough or Tim Boyle. DT is in play in a potentially deep DT draft no question, along with a good LB which they really really need but not sure one would be there that high in the draft. Sure they could get DeMarvion Overshown in the 2nd round but still not totally sold on that WR core but Jameson could be great and if DJ Chark is healthy maybe WR is not a huge need then. Mykal Walker has one spot starting and the other is probably Evans this year, but Andersen should see time in the nickel packages. Ogundeji, Malone and Ebiketie all fit well and honestly, Ebiketie has been amazing in the scheme all through camp. IDK where this idea came from that he doesn't fit. Carter would have to re-sign. I don't see them going with an OLB unless it's someone like Anderson who's just a monster. Honestly, if you want to do a pass rusher, going IDL is probably better too. Taquon Graham, Anthony Rush, Timmy Horne, they aren't scaring anyone. Falcons need SOMEONE inside next to Grady Jarrett.

Will see what he does when people know who he is and prepare for him. DJ going that high sure is a bit much but Lions need to start thinking for the future at QB and I expect DJ to have a solid season but sure that might not be the case. Still his ability to take pressure, get away from pressure athletically and sling it is very interesting, does have a lot to clean up with his release being quicker and his footwork granted. Brennan Armstrong could sneak into the 1st round maybe but not sure the teams are there that need a QB, he should have another great season though and I would say played better than Van Dyke did last year.

True safety might not be a need but honestly I would not be shocked to see them move on from Savage, Amos was surprisingly solid last year so they will keep him around. At WR sure that is not a huge need but if Sammy Watkins does not click and say Amani Rodgers is not good, they need a fast little dude who can make plays and Dell can do that and has the quickness they might be lacking. Doubs will be just fine and so will C. Watson, they just might need some more wiggle. And OT might be an issue if certain guys stay hurt and or retire. Is Jake Hanson starting for them at OG? I would assume it would be Rhyan, Newman or Tom but maybe Hanson beat them out...

Savage is on his 5th year option, so I'd imagine this year will be rather important as to whether or not he gets another contract or just plays out his 5th year option. And no, Jake Hanson isn't a staring OG. He's a fringe roster guy at this point. He's probably more a backup C at most.

Yeah I saw on ESPN.com depth chart Hanson as the starting RG, thought he was the backup center potentially and a decent one but agreed he would have to fight to make the roster with Tom in the mix. Daniel
I could see the Titans spending a high pick at receiver, but I doubt they'd spend two firsts in a row. Definitely possible though, but I think the bigger needs will be either along the defensive line, where a cut is probably coming sooner rather than later, or on the offensive line, where Lewan is aging, and Radunz looks like yet another bust already. I don't think an RB is likely in the first two. Henry still has something left in the tank and wants an extension, and they've been pretty easily able to get good rushing production from UDFAs and waiver wire guys, plus they really seem to like rookie Hassan Haskins. But all of this is likely to change by the season's end, so who knows? Just as likely as anything else. Texans passing on a QB and Rattler being some kind of high pick are interesting takes. LinderFournette
id have to say this Draft for the jags kinda Blows. Ika is a fine player but unless the jags are replacing our NT Hamilton theres no real room for him unless we cut Roy Robertson-Harris but then we likely would be a lil 2 bulky in the 3 down linemen with Foley Fatukusi(SPelling might be off but he was a FA signing this year for the jags from the jets). if i was picking a DT id lean carter based on his traits. id probably go look at giving the Jags a WR/TE or an edge rusher(yes i know we have Josh Allen and Travon walker but Allen is a FA to be and to really allow the jags to maximize Walkers skillset we probably could use another Edge to allow us to put Walker inside vs Guards and let him feast. id probably go with Jordan Addison tho we probably need more of an outside wr. round 2 is a complete whiff unless the jags cut Griffen. we currently have 3 good Corners on this roster with Campbell, Griffin, and Darious WIlliams. id probably look at maybe a G/T(like Paris johnson) or another WR/TE(if the value is there why not as Shenault looks like a best fit as a slot wr where our High Priced Kirk currently projects best at based on the stats. id like to see us Go with Johnston from TCU to pair with Addison and give Lawrence some WRs with Talent.
