turtle28
Good question asked by OBtoojiveforyou: I said: As OZ says, not counting Chase bc he’s injured; Sweat, Curl, Fuller & WJ3 can be at times but they aren’t consistently great all the time. Our D is a bunch of average talented try hard guys that Rivera/DelRio think can be great bc of “their system” it’s like the 2011 Shanahan’s offense when Mike staked his reputation on Jon Beck. lavar703
Fans can keep blaming the players but there’s far too much confusion going on. The two LB set also hasn’t worked. There’s a lot of talent not being put in the right position to succeed. Nothing will be fixed until Rivera and gang are sent packing.

This has been a problem since 2010, so you’re telling me for 12 years that it’s always been the coaches fault? Not buying it. Players need to learn what to do & execute. If not, find someone else who can. That’s Rivera’s job as the leader of the football operations department.

I agree that this is on the coaches. Take note that the one time this defense looked dominant was the year we had zero offseason so they had to be completely vanilla. No complex scheme. No "team defense". Just play. JDR/Rivera's scheme is obviously too complicated or they aren't doing a good job coaching them up. There is plenty of talent to at least be good. They got 3 weeks to sort it out.
MikeT14
No one on our defense is elite.
Slappy Mc
I came in here to say Troy Apke but... That being said, there isn't a single player on our team that has shown the ability to take over a game, so I will answer no one.

We had clowns coaching the defense. One right after the other.
