I saw most of the first half on a small screen at work. JLove was showing some touch and livelyness in his throws.

Heflin working hard not to be on the PS.

Our depth at RBs were fighting, the line did not help them enough as the game pressed on.

Both team’s punters and ST got some work, which is good for a final preseason game.

Well first off ...

1. Heflin and Goodson were definitely the show tonight

2. Love is still a Jekyll Hyde QB here.  Granted he wasn't getting the best protection he could have hoped for but still ... He seems to have a penchant for firing the ball in high coverage areas regardless.  Now unlike some, I do appreciate that he wants to push the ball downfield, but damn ... kid's got way too much of 1992-1993 Brett Favre put in him.  At this point ... I feel like he can make a good enough backup QB you might like to have, but I definitely wouldn't want to turn over the keys to him this year.

3. Gonna be interesting to see who's right about which WRs are making this team, the great debate.  Now I get It that some are still down on Rodgers and he does still have some work to do on his routes and what not.  But I like what I see out of him better than I ever did out of ESB so ... There's that

4. Biggest question mark no doubt is still special teams.  Love having Pat O'Donnell on this team, may be the best punter we've had since Hentrich.  Our coverage though ... Well idk maybe its just the scrub guys just not being used to tackling the speed at this Ievel.  But I will say we definitely gotta transform this unit pronto, or at least make them competent enough not to blow big playoff games anymore.

One thing I come away with is that our OLB depth is putrid. Maybe 3 locks, our backups got zero pressure. KCs Backup edge guys looked way better. Think I'd poach a couple over ours. We definitely need to bring in an seasoned veteran edge.

Love the OL depth we have this year. Wish we could keep everyone. Probably the hardest cuts on the team.

Goodson is decent but I know there will be better options once teams start cut downs. He's a definite PS guy though. Rather have a good vet like Ronald Jones over him.

Love the new receiver room. Can't wait to see what Watson brings to the table. Rodgers just solidified a roster spot and I'm keeping Toure over Winfree at this point. He has more upside.

TE is probably the weakest position. Davis is not a lock. 100% sure Gute will upgrade during cut downs. Other than that this is shaping up to be a strong roster.

I haven't seen Love do "IT" yet where I see it and go "yep. He's gonna be a stud." Always feels like there's just a little something holding that moment back.

Still wildly inconsistent from one play to the next. Shows flashes, certainly looks more comfortable in the offense . Maybe it clicks for him eventually, just don't see it happening in GB as he won't get much of any opportunity outside of these preseason reps playing with backups.

Did you even watch Canella play?  That guy is the second coming of Tom Crabtree.

Love looked basically like the other 2 preseason games. Lots of great passes that look like a starting caliber QB, and others that make you scratch your head in disappointment. The stat sheet is misleading, but those numbers still aren't great. Tonight there was bad 2 turnover worthy plays, one to Doubs where he probably thinks its a back shoulder to him but it's just a bad ball. The next is the interception where he tried to fit it in-between 2 guys but it just sailed high and picked. Love shines when he just stands in, plants his feet and fires it to the open guy and he gets it there with accuracy. The best play was probably that play to Toure where you saw him go through his progressions, kind of pivots his feet, stands in and nail that pass right to Toure. The problems lie in some off balanced throws where its just off. And its a range of not enough air under it, to too much air, or to the wrong side of a reciever. I'll give him he was better throwing the flats this game. Overall - Love isn't a bad QB, he's improved, he can handle being a decent backup, but I don't think I would be confident if Rodgers was gone and he had to start week 1 right now.

Amari Rodgers had the best game of his preseason. He caught everything his way that I saw, seemed more confident out there. He definitely helped his cause to make the team if nothing else tonight.

Toure also really impressed having his best of his preseason as well. He just made plays when given the chance. I don't know if he makes it or gets put on the PS. I don't think he did enough to be poached, but you never know.

Goodson is explosive as hell, TD run was impressive. I wouldn't complain about him being our 3rd HB. Patrick Taylor didn't look too shabby as well tonight. You could probably get away with him on the PS.

Slayton continued his uprise with a couple nice pressures on the night.

Quay looked ready, was all over the place(in a good way), just a really steady player. Just like the way he played in college, he's not making all these flashy plays but you rarely see him out of position. Hopefully as he gets more playing time the flash will come to light there.

Wyatt had a better night, had a nice spin move rush but still would of liked more out of him. Way way way too early to judge the guy. DT depth is great, so he can come around at a good pace. Bring him in on pass rushing downs and go from there.

Special teams continues to be special. I don't envy evaluating on who to keep for special teams, it's just a mess rn. Not going to crap on Bisaccia too much before we see it in the regular season, but disappointing so far. O'Donnell banged some nice ones tonight tho.
