Ridiculous to you, not me. I've explained my position. Had we had some success and he didn't have full roster control then fine, go golf. We haven't been good and he's the GM. He wanted these responsibilities.

Ya, and he's actually done an excellent job drafting for us.

This is such a ridiculous thing to nitpick over.  Did he need to attend every bowl game as well?  We have scouts that watch the games and bring information to the decision makers.  We even sent a high level front office person to the senior bowl which is probably more than what half the teams in the league do.

I've been trying to google who went. I can't find many big names.

We don't have to agree on this. Considering the circumstances I think he should be at all of these events. I also wouldn't say excellent but that's me.

Another team that may or may not be in the market for a quarterback is the Washington Commanders. While Carson Wentz was a disappointment, some in the organization are very positive and hopeful about second-year quarterback Sam Howell. Picking 16th in the 2023 NFL Draft, any quarterback who gets to the Commanders will be a reach, so they may go with Howell as the favorite to be the starter next season. Sources with Washington told WalterFootball.com that the organization really wants to upgrade at the cornerback position. The Commanders feel they need more talent there and the players they have coming back need to play better. Don't be surprised if the Commanders ****** up a cornerback in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, with some top options being Illinois' Devon Witherspoon, Oregon's Christian Gonzalez and Penn State's Joey Porter Jr.

Rumor Mill from Walterfootball. Take it FWIW

One thing to consider about Broderick Jones is he’s young and just touching the surface on his potential. He’s only 21, he’s 6’4, 311 pounds. If he needs to get stronger he can do that over the next year or so & hopefully get up to around 320 pounds.

I have to be honest, my concern with O’Torrence is his weight. He’s only 23 & he’s 350 pounds? That seems like an issue to me. I’m worried it’s another Mike Williams or Potroast situation where the dudes not going to be able to carry the weight well, stay injured & basically eat himself out of the league.

O'Cyrus weighed in at 337 lbs this week at the Senior Bowl. He could stand to lose some more, but that's a good sign

I gotta say I’m not crazy about Porter JR. Give me Gonzalez or Witherspoon. I have higher grades on those two than any of the OL in this class. I’d go CB and round 2 go OL because I have a ton of guys cluttered in that range. Heck I’d probably go OL with 2 out of my top 3 picks but I do love my top two guys. And in this class there’s not a ton of players I love but there are alot of players I really like. Basically I have a ton of guys I’d love to get late first early second you probably have some of them avalible early 3rd. But as far as first round picks man outside of Mayer, Robinson, and a few edges these top CB’s are the only guys I have graded there besides Bryce young and Stroud. And I still like Levis because he has the tools and no help in Kentucky. But I’d be jumping up and dow to get one of these CB’s because they are crazy physical and I love a dog outside!!
