So with the signing of Tremon Smith, does this place a little more importance on the development of Washington as a WR or did his butt just get put on the hot seat ? Hot seat after a disappointing campaign, imo

We see it every year across the NFL; small players without typical NFL size (across all positions) showing well in camp. As soon as the bright lights come on and everyone is going just that 5% harder, those windows to make plays become smaller and unfortunately, these guys just can't produce the goods. At the end of the day, Washington is 5ft 9, 180lbs and ran a 4.53. He's fighting the odds, no matter what noise was coming from the team.
