JDBrocks
Tennessee can beat Philly. Tannehill and Henry are far superior to Heinicke and Robinson/Gibson, and that's how the Commies won: positive rushing plays and time of possession.
SemperFeist
If Washington can beat Philly, in Philly, then Green Bay, Tennessee, Dallas, and New York all have the capability to beat Philly. Obviously not all of them will, but they all have the pieces on defense to do what Washington did on defense, and they have running games that can beat Philly’s defense. And while Daniel Jones may not necessarily be better than Heinicke, certainly Saquon Barkley is this year far superior to all the Washington RBs combined, so I would expect at least a split with the Giants. Good point. Jones is at least an equal passer with worse weapons, but a better runner than Heinicke. Philly is still probably the class of the NFC, but they are not without holes to be exploited. Philly will be a tough place to play in the playoffs however, so that's their major advantage.

Feel like this isn’t true simply for the fact Philly and Washington are in the same division. Feel like you can’t hold that same standard for non divisional games. Detroit and Chicago always give us trouble even if they are terrible. Detroit nearly beat us this year.

Agree to an extent, but he did say that they have the "capability" of doing so, not that they likely will. I think Tennessee has a greater likelihood of beating them than the Packers do, but the Packers still have a shot, certainly better than that Colts or Bears do. Think with parity in the nfl and the fact that there are very few if any, power house teams right now, just about anyone has the capability of winning any given week. As long as your QB situation isn’t a disaster.
SemperFeist
The key to beating Philadelphia is a strong run game that keeps the Eagles’ pass rush from pinning their ears back, while also controlling the clock and keeping the Eagles’ offense on the sideline. Defensively, strong pressure and a defense fast enough to corral Hurts is what will limit the Eagles. The Packers, Titans, Cowboys, and Giants have those pieces in place. vike daddy
Word on Tuesday was that Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will miss extended time with a shoulder injury and Wednesday brought confirmation that he will be out at least four games. The Eagles announced that Goedert has been placed on injured reserve. Defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu is also going on the list. Goedert has 43 catches for 544 yards and three touchdowns, which is a lot of production to make up for on the offense. Tuipulotu had five tackles and a fumble recovery Monday, but suffered a knee injury. He joins Jordan Davis on the injured reserve list, which explains why the Eagles are signing veteran defensive tackle Linval Joseph. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/11/16/eagles-put-dallas-goedert-marlon-tuipulotu-on-ir/
