Jags have only ever beat Washington once, historically. (And it was @jags)

I Believe that trend continues.

Think I'm full of ****? Check this out & check out the scores.

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/washington-record-vs-jaguars#:~:text=The Washington Redskins are 6,against the Jaguars all-time.

You realize that for most of my life Detroit had never beaten us either. And then when they beat us at Detroit, the saying was "well, they have never won in Washington". Both are no longer true.

TL:DR - there's always a first time.

Oh, I didn’t give my score prediction. I’m going to go 27-20 Commanders.

Carson usually starts his seasons off well, minus 2020:

2016: 278 yds & 2 tds, W vs CLE

2017: 307 yds, 2 TDs & 1 int, W vs Wash

2018: 255 yds, 1 TD & 1 int, W vs Indy

2019: 313 yds, 3 TDs, W vs Wash

2021: 251 yds, 2 TDs, L vs Seattle

That’s 10 TDs in 5 games to start his season w/ on 2 ints & an avg of 281 ypg.

I think our offense finds a rhythm while our defense does enough to confuse Lawrence & they struggle to find a rhythm.

The athletic has us ranked 28th in their power rankings, below the Giants

Makes zero sense to me. If Carson just plays as he did last year in Indy which to me is his floor given the weapons around him, at worst were 7-10 again. The Giants floor has to be like 4 or 5 wins.

I just don’t understand how down many are on the team. I get not being sold on the team, I don’t get thinking they’ll be worse than last year.

Given that homefield advantage is a built-in 3points in the line and this is actually a pick'em game that favors the Jags.

They’re just trying to make $, it’s likely to be a close game. I don’t know that a lot separates the two teams but people are putting a whole lot of stock in everything going right for the Jags new HC Pederson with all of their new pieces playing well while not having any faith in Rivera & Wentz to play as well as Heinicke did last year.
