He was absolutely electric and then just made two totally boneheaded throws. I can't remember the last time seeing a receiver hit in stride but that pass to Terry was incredible. It's a shame he's such a rollercoaster and you can't trust him because his talent his undeniable. I mean, the first interception he had Samuel wide open right in front of him and he just threw it over him to a covered Dotson. If he can eliminate the mistakes then we have something but I'm just no sure at the moment Yup. And I don't know if they showed it on TV (this is where being a the game gives you a better feel for what is going on) but on the drive where we eventually got it downfield and Dotson scored (in the EZ on my end), the first play was a pass and Dotson had a go route down the sideline. He had his man beat by what looked to be 10 yards. And Wentz tried a shorter route instead to that same side of the field. I get not seeing him if he was going left. But Dotson was wide-freaking-open down the right side. You CAN'T miss those chances.

We easily could’ve lost bc of how poorly the secondary played at times too & bc Pederson stupidly didn’t get the ball to Etien more. The secondary secured the victory after Wentz TD to Dotson. Seems you just want to go back and forth oppose to honest critique. I previously pointed out how I expected the D to play poorly, yet they proved me wrong today. Especially Forrest. Wentz lead the Offense to those 4 TD'S I said we would need throughout the year. Without his bad mistakes the game could've been put away WaYyy earlier, not putting the Defense in some of those late situations.

This team has some serious weapons at receiver and if Wentz was ever going to toss for 35+ TDs this is the group to do it with.
ARTMONK HOF
Jahan Dotson is a player. Whether or not you liked him at pick 16, I’m glad he’s on our team. D.Forest stepped up today, impressed with him. Not bad for a 6th rd pick.

They were letting the Jags go up and down the field. They should’ve gave up a TD but Etienne just flat out dropped a wide open pass on 4th. Receivers were running wide open down the field and Lawrence just missed them. I mean, it’s almost impossible to deny Wentz is the reason we won this game. He was also the reason we had to come back so it’s a devils advocate kinda situation but the defense was not good by any means.

And then to watch him with the INT from my seat was beautiful. That ball just hung up in the air and you could see him settling in like he was fielding a punt. Great job.

There were too many red zone trips (many at the end of long drives) for the Jags for a team that prides itself on having a good defense (or at least fantasizes that they have one).

Turner ran plays specifically for Curtis it was almost like he was trying to prove all the ppl wrong who said Samuel couldn’t play & their plan to have him ready for the season wasn’t going to work. It wasn’t just Wentz, Turner threw what seemed like 5 screens to Samuel & Samuel had match up advantages in the slot all game. I was yelling at the TV saying throw some screens & slants to Terry to get him going & then Carson hit Terry for the 49-yard TD but Terry should’ve had more targets. He needs to be a receiver in the screen game too, I’ve called for that for 3 years but Turner never does it for Terry. He needs the ball in his hands more. If Terry gets those screens & slants to just get him the ball than he has 5-10 receptions in the game for 100 plus yds & a TD. He played well, the rest of the secondary & the LBs in coverage did not play well. Both those things can be true. WJ3 & Juice got burned all game, as did Holcomb & Jamin. McCain & Fuller got burned on Kirk’s 49-yard reception which allowed the Jags to finally take the lead in the 3rd quarter. Fullers two PI’s were responsible as much as any single play for one of the Jags TD. If the back 7 doesn’t play better & similar to Forrest, then it’s going to be a long year. Hopefully Curl is back soon & can alleviate some of the issues w/ coverage on the 2nd level. Etien dropped a sure TD pass, Lawrence missed Etien for another should’ve been TD completion in the first quarter. After that, Lawrence missed I think One of the Jones’s on what should’ve been a TD on the Tiger side of the D. Lawrence was more inaccurate that Carson. If Lawrence was as accurate as Carson, the Jags put up 38 pts on our D or more. The only reason they didn’t have that many points was bc the Jags shots themselves in the foot. lavar703
I know the plan was to let Payne go but they should’ve paid him. He was a monster today.

Too late now, given they invested a 2nd in Mathis. Well, unless they overpay to make up for hurt feelings (and thus waste a 2nd). Just another "brilliant" decision by Rivera and the poodles.

Playing poorly and allowing points is two different things. During the game I posted going into the 2nd half the Offense needed to score a TD on their 1st drive while the score was 14-3, they didn't. If they lost that game today it would've been more on the Offense not converting on those drives the D didn't allow any points.
