Might be the 1 week of a season where absolutely nothing is guaranteed. I expect the win but wouldn't be shocked by a choke job loss. Been there to many times before. I remember people here prior to week 1 against the Falcons in 2015 and I quote "Won't be surprise if we drop a 50 burger on them". And we all remember how it all went down. Geoff Mosher said Jeff Stoutland was someone that liked Jalen Reagor and didn’t wanna see him go and he said I guess he spoke up about it and said it would be great to have Jalen Reagor on the team. Or is Hockenson about to go off again? Given the DL additions, are we going to stop the run or is Swift about to gash us? We going to get Pressure /Sacks? Create TO's? Are we going to continue shooting ourselves in the foot with untimely penalties? Several things we struggled with in 2021. Here's hoping it was just personnel. We are the better team on paper, on a different level really, and we beat the brakes off them last year worse than maybe anyone else did? Anything can happen, and week 1 really isn't indicative of how your season will go, but I'll be very disappointed with anything less than a clean W.
