The end zone from my angle at the visitors tunnel looked like it had mid season use on it. If we can’t fix the damn grass, then they need to switch to a turf field. It seems like every game here, someone is carted off with a lower body injury I'm now literally on the opposite side of the field from you (where I used to be in the same EZ). Corner of the EZ nearest to visitor side (just follow the sideline all the way to the wall and I'm 3 rows in). And yes, quite a few things weren't ready for Game 1. Porta johns (there were only 2 where we were for over 200 people and at 9am yesterday before anyone hit them, they were already gross). Talked to a person who used to have the contract for these things and they talked my ear off on how cheap the organization is and how they are looking to cheap out on these. Not enough paper towels in the bathrooms. And the field. I could see the tufts of field already up off the turf and the game hadn't even started yet. It was ridiculous. I used to be a natural turf guy, but they should just go with the "field turf" like JMU has. https://jmusports.com/facilities/bridgeforth-stadium-zane-showker-field/1

Hilariously sad! 🤣 As someone who’s planned a lot of rallies for work, porta John’s are very important & can’t be overlooked. They’re really important & they must be clean or you’ll never hear the end of it from the people attending your event. Wow, we suck. I mean we literally get to the stadium before the gates open. So we're in there right at open. So you'd expect them to be clean for the FIRST GAME! But they were disgusting already. Which means they weren't cleaned. According to the person I talked to, they are supposed to be cleaned the Friday before the game. No way they were. And where we are used to have 6-8 of them. Instead we had two. But according to the person I talked to, they have a whole LOT full of them that they move them from so it's not like there's a lack of the porta johns. It's just unwillingness to pay for the cleaning. I mean people were literally taking huge breaths of air before going in and holding their breath. Seriously next game, I'm just going behind my car and taking a leak/dump there and let them clean it up off the asphalt. If they don't want to respect the fans, why should that be reciprocated?

None on the back or side of the lot. We used to have 12. My buddy said the last cleaning date on them was from before the NFL Draft. At this point, I think I’m going to start using the woods along the back. They finally put a QR code on the back of the seats for the 50/50 raffle, but there was a 504 error so you couldn’t finalize your order. How much money did they lose out on? You can’t make this stuff up. The field is atrocious. I’ve been on the Naval Academy turf field before, it’s great. If we can’t get the grass to work, then they have to do something different.

Yeah, I think if I don't sell my Iggles tickets, I'll go and this is the last one I go to for awhile. We already did our reunion game (this past Sunday) so I'm good for the regular season now. Meanwhile I'll continue complaining and embarrassing them on Twitter and social media for the cheap organization they are

offbyone
Standard Meniscus tear can be repaired. He has something more complicated. Can't count on him next year. We better start thinking about dline for next year. We should have kept one or at least extended Payne. Now Payne has us by the short hairs and he is probably playing his best ball.

They’ll just end up franchising Payne. They’re so bad at getting out in front of these things. It’s just remarkable at this point.

Do we know that he won’t be healthy next August/September? He did have the injury in week 1. It’s hard to imagine that in a whole calendar year he won’t be ready to go, but if he isn’t I hope they go the Chase Young route & don’t rush him. Man, it just makes me hate Rivera more. Cutting Ioannidis for zero reason was so stupid. They should’ve just re-structured his contract. We miss him as a rotational DT & Collins as the buffalo nickel as well. Rivera really screwed up there.

We should have Tim Settle and Matt Ioannidis still on the roster. If I remember right, Settle said we never even offered a contract. Then we use a valuable draft pick on a 24 year old rookie, who unfortunately got hurt. Then Ron Rivera inexplicably says he is worried about our depth at DT... GTFOH. Sick of the lack of accountability from the whole front office.

It’s an issue.

The problem is that this happened so early in the season that not only do we not know if he is healthy, we also don't know if he can play. So after year 3 of our "rebuild", the position of strongest depth now needs a rebuild.

Ioanidis wasn’t breaking the bank but, he was making starter $ for a back up. They should’ve just restructured him. as you said it sucks
