That wasn't the case for Haskins or Griffin but we Have to give Jamin Davis every opportunity in the world. Get outta here with that. Same can be said for other guys like the WR's they drafted years ago with Fred Davis. Those guys showed they weren't living up to the potential and where gone by year 3. If Davis continues to struggle Rivera is only keeping him to save face.

I mean, we have nothing else. Mayo and Bostic suck. We could try Eifler I guess. But we have nothing to replace him with lol

This goes back to how Rivera acted in Carolina. He essentially ignores impact free agents.

A lot seem to have this "O Well" type attitude, not me. If Rivera doesn't improve Get His A** outta here. I'm not for the BS he's selling no more!

I was against the hire from the beginning. Three winning seasons in nine years, the same number that Bruce Allen had. Not active in free agency. Sub .500 winning percentage the last four seasons in Carolina.

so yeah, it’s an oh well attitude because we are stuck with him.

Great. I want him gone too. But to your point, do you see any majority owners of the franchise on this forum?

Me either. So the "Oh well" attitude is fans recognizing that we have no control over personnel.

If I did, we never would've traded for TJ Duckett, or Jason Taylor, or Skippy McBouncepass, or Alex Smith, and we wouldn't have drafted Haskins, or Jamin, OR traded up to draft Griffin, etc... etc...

All mistakes by our various GMs over the years and ones that I would most definitely NOT have made (and said so on this very forum).

But I'm not the GM nor the owner. I have zero power to force personnel changes. I can call for it, but that does what exactly? So in the meantime we're stuck with the stupid decisions this team makes. Hence the "Oh well" attitude.

Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled either. And it became clear that he was in over his head here.

Per bolded - yup. He's "Coach for Life"

I post as a Passionate Fan. Calling things for what they are hopefully brings Change. Not accepting Mediocrity, keeping pressure on the team to once again become a Super Bowl Winning Team.
