cconocool
I think relief pitching is one of the most underrated aspects in baseball, so I was thinking about a new intriguing stat. Inherited Bases Left On. A runner on third is three bases, a runner on second is 2 bases, a runner on first is one base. How many inherited bases does a pitcher remove per inning? Or something to that effect.

But still use the bases system. 3rd is 3, 2nd is 2, and 1st is one.
