Right. Rotten Tomatoes removing politically motivated reviews. They're basically the Salon of movie sites. Don't know why people are caught up in reviews on this one anyway. No marvel movie is going to be a lasting landmark in cinematic history, no Marvel movie is going to be remembered as an all time great movie. They're all good movies that you'll probably watch multiple times and enjoy each time and I don't think Black Panther is going to be anything more or less. Manny/Patrick
I was a little young but was Blade getting this much hype? I know the differences are staggering.

TecmoSuperJoe
Just saw it. I loved it. I think most people will.Pretty sure the film will fan the flames of a specific social issue. Especially in the American black community. As a black American myself, it was interesting to see certain perspectives in the story. Liked the direction Ryan Coogler went with. Considering his background, I'm not surprised. Michael B. Jordan killed it btw. One mid credits scene and one post credit scene included.

That's how barren the superhero film genre was back then. Instead of blockbusters, they were usually seen as niche films. Batman and Superman being exceptions. Which is weird though, because that was already established not too long ago. So it's nothing new.

Killmonger is easily the best Marvel villain ever, his actions, motivations, and dialogue all flow very smoothly. Set design is great, CG is eh but that's that case for all of these. Can't wait to see it again in a theater full of people.

MacReady
Man, I feel like I'm way behind. I haven't seen Thor yet, now I won't see this, which means I'll have to wait until Avengers comes to blu ray to catch up because I refuse to watch them out of order. All the hype has me hyped. This seems like a really weird self imposed purgatory? Especially since Thor likely has zero impact on Black Panther... Ragnarok is on Digital in like a week, doesnt seem like you are going to need to wait for Avengers on Blu Ray
