Seahawks SS Chancellor Expected To Miss Rest of '17-'18 Season...

Seattle imo has been trending down every year since the 2013 Super Bowl imo. Even in 2014 they started out slow and found themselves 3-3 after week 7 before they had to go on a 9-1 run to finish the season and make their playoff run. And it's only gotten worse since. They might still make the playoffs, but they'll probably be cannon fodder unless Wilson does something incredible. They are in that Packers territory where they are still good enough to be in the race but aren't good enough to stop anybody hot.

Unbelievable....Seattle legit had a shot at getting back to the SB and it has all gone up in smoke so fast

Rams have benefitted the most out of anyone this year with Injuries to the opposition

Nope. Rodgers going down is probably more significant for MN.

Yeah. Rams lost to Seattle. Barring everything else they still have a good record and are keeping pace with Seattle. Minnesota beat Green Bay the day Rodgers got injured, basically swinging the division and then Green Bay lost to the Saints then next week and Detroit after that, putting them behind in the division. Without the injury it's highly likely that Green Bay beats Minnesota that day, putting them at 6-3 while the Packers likely at least beat Detroit. Giving them a possible record of anywhere from 7-2 to 8-1

And actually at the end of the day, Luck and Watson going down probably gave the AFC South to the Jaguars

That Bradley McDougald signing is about to really become evident here in the coming weeks. He filled in great when Earl Thomas went down, now he's gotta switch positions and fill in for Kam.

He was pretty good with us. I have no idea why we decided to resign Conte and let him walk.

Rodgers is winning and that one

I'm actually giving the edge to Odell next season - Giants will look massively improved, win a lot more games, and Beckham will catch a ton of passes.

Plus, Odell is a media darling. That'll always carry some weight.

Rodgers isnt a media darling?

Also isnt it possible the Giants start a rookie QB next year?

The Seahawks are about to have a good line without a secondary.  Thomas will be 29, Chancellor will be 30 and Sherman will be 30 next year with the latter two returning from injuries.  I could be wrong, but trading so many of their first round picks the last few years and now trading their second and third round picks for this coming draft could leave them seriously depleted on defense.  Do they have any promising young players in that secondary, or were they still getting by with Sherman, Thomas and Chancellor?

Previous draft they spent a number of picks on the secondary.

Shaq Griffin (3rd) Starting Corner

Delano Hill (3rd) SS

Tendric Thompson (4th) FS

All made the team. They definitely prepared for this in a way. Delano and Thompson haven't seen the field outside of mop up duty/special teams but the staff seems high on them.
