So the Steelers are going to be awful this year, right? So they're going to get a pretty high draft pick. Everyone kinda knew that going into this year, unless you are super delusional and thought "we went 11-1 with useless Ben, we can only go up!". So you go into next year with a stacked QB class, all of which are better than Pickett, but you can't take any of them because now you have Pickett. Why? They fully believed, in all their arrogance, that they would be in a position to compete for the playoffs again with Trubisky. And they have an incredibly ability to sell themselves on a guy when they have a need. Jury is still out on Pickett, but don't be fooled. They fully convinced themselves that he was the guy for them. Just like they did with Najee Harris the year before. And Devin Bush before that (we skipped a year there). They run to the podium to make their picks, too.
