Verdict on the skycam

Seriously I think it's the best angle for anybody who wants to get a deep understanding of the game. You get to see a better view of the blocking and running lanes, see what the QB see's, and you see the routes the receivers are running. I don't understand why this isn't the standard.

I just don't see the advantage to the regular angle. You don't see the blocking assignments as well. You are focused on the QB so if he even drops back at all in the pocket you stop seeing receivers on their routes past the line of scrimmage. Even in the run game you don't see the lanes open up or have as good of an idea of what they are doing. That view is literally only good for down and distance in my opinion.

For those saying they like it, but wouldn't want it full-time, or want it mixed in with the traditional view, why? If skycam is better, why not use it the entire game?

Both have their advantages IMO.  The regular view makes it easier to judge distance, at least to me.

Ideally I want access to both angles whenever I want to.
