Week 4: Jags @ Eagles

Still doesn't hide the fact not kicking on 4th was a straight up dumb decision.

In the end though, the Eagles soldified themselves as the cream of the crop in the NFL today.

  • Come back from big deficit
  • Proved we aren't just a pass team, we can still run it with the best of them
  • Overcame injuries - good depth
  • 2nd half offense

Ugliest of our 4 Ws by far, we left so many points on field (as usual) and got gifted turnovers by Trevor, but I’ll take it. They are a good team (8-10 wins?) and punched us in mouth early with that 14-0 lead. Gritty win.

As one of the few Gannon guys left, it’s a good day to be exactly that… Defense was stellar once again

I'm still not 100 percent convinced. But it's hard to deny that this defense performed well vs 2/3 good offenses so far this season. It's also fair to ask: "Is it Gannon, or is it kirk cousins in prime time? Wentz being Wentz? Horrible rain and a new QB in Lawrence?"

I like what I'm seeing for the most part, but I'm still skeptical.
