If NC State makes it through the next two weeks undefeated, they've got to be a favorite for making the playoff. Of course, it's NC State so who the hell knows but they've got a very favorable schedule should they beat Clemson and FSU. Only game really in their way would be Wake but that's at home.

There were a few people who were very high on them at the start of the season and I thought they were full of it after that first week against ECU. They seemed to have figured it out. This is a huge matchup to see where they're at now.

Yeah, TBF, they haven't really played anyone since the ECU game so it's hard to say who they are yet but, as you said, this matchup will be telling. They win it, they have to be a betting favorite to make the playoff.

A big 3 weeks in the ACC. Either a clear favorite emerges or they beat each other up as the SEC likes to say. Over the next 3 weeks there's:

FSU - Wake Forest

FSU - Clemson

NC State - Clemson

NC State - FSU

Pittsburgh has a very manageable schedule and doesn't play any of Clemson, NC State, Wake Forest, or FSU.
