Jeezla
Which of these 3-0 teams do you think is the better team? 2 early MVP candidates at QB. 2 of the best WR duos in the NFL. 2 of the best secondaries in the NFL (When Byron Jones is back). 2 of the best LT's in the NFL. 2 undefeated teams through 3 weeks. Who better?
MagicMT
Iggles, slightly. I think their OL is one of the best in the league and they have a much better TE. Dolphins have the advantage in the secondary and maybeeeee on the Dline (but not by much). Two good teams and a good comparison
bmorecareful
Idk who is better but the dolphins have definitely beat better competition… And the funny thing is the eagles don’t have an elite team on their entire schedule… lol… I can easily see them being the number 1 seed and losing in their first playoff game this year…
Soko
Dolphins, mostly because Bills/Ravens/Pats vs Commanders/Vikings/Lions. But it’s only Week 4.
BayRaider
Way too early to know but Dolphins simply by competition... Ravens and Bills are elite teams while the Pats are no slouches.
aussie_eagle
We can look at it 2 ways 1. The wins by the opposition: Baltimore, NE and Buffalo have 5 wins and 3 losses between them, whereas Minnesota, Detroit and Washington have 4 wins between them, so advantage Miami 2. The margin of victories: Miami has won by 13 vs NE, 4 vs Baltimore and 2 vs Buffalo. Philadelphia has won by 3 vs Detroit, 17 vs Minnesota and 16 vs Washington, so advantage Philadelphia. It's close, but over the next week or 2 we should see who is definitely the better team
Charles
Eagles. Dolphins could, and maybe should, be 1-2.

HerbertGOAT
I have a gut feeling the Dolphins win the Super Bowl this year.

Should also be added that Buffalo had a ton of injuries on both sides of the ball throughout their game + nearly doubled the Dolphins in yards and TOP. If you play that game over 10 times- Buffalo probably wins it 8 given how dominant they were in time of possession and yards, and that's even with a ton of injuries on both sides of the ball. Small sample sizes are tough to judge for this very reason.

You can say the ravens are terrible on Defense which to this point I totally agree… but we are also the best offensive team (statistically) in football with the best special teams as well… being elite in 2 of the 3 phases of the sport should qualify a team as “elite” overall… those late 90s early 2000s colts team were average at best defensively but had an elite offense so they were elite… the chiefs of recent years have had terrible defenses but were considered elite teams because of their offense… No we aren’t yet to that level of continued offensive success but any team with a perennial potential MVP at quarterback is an elite team because of the value of that one position imo… Edited September 27, 2022 by bmorecareful

stl4life07
The eye test says the Eagles look better but the more impressive wins are from the Dolphins. People could see the Eagles being (3-0). They beat the Lions, Vikings (Cousins in a primetime game), and the Commanders. Nobody could see the Dolphins being (3-0). Most had them losing to the Ravens and nearly everyone had them losing to the Bills. I want to see how the Eagles will look when they play a Ravens or even Bills type caliber team. They look great. At least with the Dolphins they have the confidence they can beat the upper echelon type teams. That will go along way for them especially in the playoffs if they have to see the Ravens again and they will obviously face the Bills again during the season. As I look at the Eagles schedule the caliber of team they will have to play similar to the Dolphins playing the Ravens is when the Eagles have to play the Packers late November. Their schedule is super soft. So yes they will probably rack up tons of wins and then get in the playoffs before they run into hopefully a healthy Bucs team or Rams team or Niners team then we will see just how great they really are. NeptunePenguins
Honestly this is a very good question. I do think the Eagles in a vacuum are the more impressive team overall and I would probably bet that if they were to play each other head to head in a neutral environment that the Eagles would beat them most likely. The Dolphins do have some nice victories, but the Ravens had their way with their defense, and so did the Bills in terms of the raw numbers. Meanwhile, the Eagles have basically dominated their opponents so far, even if their opponents are a bit weaker than the Dolphins' opponents. Still this is very early in the season, and both of these teams imo are within the same tier, going by the results of the season so far. I am mostly gonna go with the Eagles as I do have a bit more confidence in Jalen Hurts, as I think he is going to be the better QB, at least in the short term vs Tua. "Historic year for Jefferson" and On 9/11/2022 at 10:50 PM, BayRaider said: As predicted, Jefferson is WR1 this season and it isn’t going to be remotely close. Also that the Raiders "Might be a top 7-8 team" just as they were jerking the game away to the Cards Also called Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby the "best pass rushing duo in the league" Currently has the Raiders getting to the divisional round with an 11 win season in the prediction thread This absolute nut; "The Raiders are definitely going “All In” with a 3 year window factoring in all the 3 year contracts and the ages after those contracts. They are hoping to win with a Top 5 Offense and Mid-Level defense like the Chiefs did in 2019. Our defense was close to mid level last year. And that’s without Chandler Jones. There’s a couple posters thinking we are in still in “build” mode this season and only expect a 8-9 record, but that is definitely not what this coaching staff is aiming for. This coaching staff sees a Super Bowl window for 2022, 2023, and 2024. After 2024 will probably come regression and a “massive reload”. The team should still be good enough to not have to do a full rebuild. But we won’t be SB contenders in 2024/2025 while we reload the roster. " As well as; "- Trey Lance wins MVP and the 49ers are the #1 seed - Najee Harris finishes as the #1 overall RB in terms of fantasy (which also means probably #1 in real life as well) - Justin Jefferson puts up a ridiculously historic season. Not quite Kupp level but close. OPOY. - Colts make the AFC Championship. - Courtland Sutton, Elijah Moore, and Brandon Aiyuk are this year’s “breakout” WR’s, with Sutton finishing Top 5 overall. " Does everything with such conviction too. Like it's not a prediciton but is stating matters of fact. @BayRaider - you are probably the worst on the entire forum at predictions. At some point, you need to stop Edited September 28, 2022 by BigTrav
