Week 5 GDT Packers vs. Gmen @ 9:30AM F/UK... Damn thats too early

Here we go boys, London game to be played. This week i don't think we have a chance at all.  Packers are coming in with Aaron Rodgers looking like his usual self after their win against New England. The Packers weapons no longer include Devante Adams which has been noticeable, but Rodgers is just too good. He makes guys like Romeo Doubs, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb look like they are Randy Moss. Aaron Jones out of the backfield is a load for us to take care of. Their defense is pretty stout. Rashan Gary is emerging as a star for them and Kenny Clark and Preston Smith just continue to play solid ball for them. Alot of firepower for them on both sides of the ball.

On our side we are just way way too banged up. Too many injuries at WR. (granted our WRs were playing like dirt anyway). Neal and Glowinski are hobbling. Daniel Jones is a major question mark as to whether he'll play this weekend or not. Just not alot of positives to write home about for this one. Defense is gonna be down Aaron Robinson. possibly Big Kat as well. Jihad Ward is hobbling,  no Julian Love this weekend.. just not good at all. The only chance we have against this team is that Saquon balls out and we keep GBs offense off the field long enough and make sure our defense can make just enough plays to get Rodgers off balance. I highly doubt that happens. Im chalking this one up in the loss column.

 Packers 32 / Giants 14

Hope DJ still has his legs and footing good because he'll need it this week against that Packer defense.

We saw DJ play on a bum ankle for a few weeks in 2020. It wasn't a good sight to see for Giants fans. Eli wasn't an elite QB, but he developed elite pocket awareness and ability to shift around the pocket to create extra time and throwing lanes. DJ has some great attributes, but his pocket awareness is pretty poor, to be frank. His mobility often bails him out of that since he can run his way out of trouble. Without that mobility, he's like a sitting (and fumbling) duck back there.

If his mobility is severely limited, we'd probably be better off seeing Webb start.

Just happy it's going to be televised in my location.

Not expecting a big win or anything like that.  Sadly, our receivers aren't doing enough to help this team out.  Barkley or bust at this point...haha.

I would like to see more from our defensive front 7 tomorrow.  Sacks, sacks and more sacks please and thanks.
