They forced Rush to fumble but it was recovered by the Cowboys. Last week the Rams shouldve had a pick but the defender didnt get the ball Deebo caught it and took it for a TD. Like the ball just arent bouncing the Rams way and of course its going against the Rams on offense. We need takeaways period. Idc how we get them bc we wont win many games by losing the turnover battle. The luck thing is real. There were 4 fumbles today and Dallas recovered all of them. Had we recovered all of them, we likely win.

If the iOL is this bad in pass pro, they need to get push in the run game. RUN THE BALL WITH HENDO. HE HAD 0 CARRIES (minus one called back from a flag). Stafford aint right. No other way for me to explain it. We need McVay to get creative with our inefficiencies. Defense minus one play held their end of the bargain. Hope he doesnt need an entire season reality check, but it's shaping up to the be that. We might not make the playoffs if this continues. That’s what I’m saying. Oline problems or not, there’s too many other problems and that’s from the coaches down to the players. They’re all a mess. Stafford imo is doing what he can, as is Kupp.. but Outside of that I see nothing at all that gives me hope. Not saying stafford has been perfect, but realistically there’s maybe 2-3 QBs that could win games behind that line. Even Havenstein our only proven lineman is getting embarrassed over and over. I won’t even get started on our other “weapons”. If I’m OBJ, I’m staying as far away as I can from this clown show of a team. Defensively I’m so disappointed in a few players like Wagner and Floyd. Wagner hasn’t been anything close to what I’ve seen in years past. The secondary gets a slight pass since they’re just as beat up as the Oline. Jalen has been solid since getting killed week 1 and AD is the only threat on the front 7. Sure we haven’t given up that many points lately, but we just played a backup QB and a horrible Niners offense last week and still got smoked In both games. At times they look beyond soft. Missed tackles like crazy and honestly it doesn’t feel like they want to be out there. There’s no pride or heart on this team. Cherry on top, Special teams is a joke. Two blocked punts and we’re only going into week 6.

Nothing about this offense says we would have capitalized on any turnover. I never expected to see Mcvay leading one of the worst offensive units in the league but he’s in way over his head right now. This team needs a reset. 0-0 and go into the Carolina game with the mind set of a fresh slate. It’s wild that I can’t even say we’re going to beat Carolina. SB champs to this disaster is insane to me. I’m officially hitting the panic button until they show any type of competent play

The only QB that can survive with this oline are the QB that can scramble. You can put Brady or Rodgers, the result would be the same. LeotheLion
If we are making a list of positions that need to be improved, I think this is the list: RB, WR2, WR3, OL, OLB, S. In theory, WR2 and WR3 are Van Jefferson and OBJ. I am not sure that answers everything. Especially with OBJ only 8 months off of an ACL right now. The OL issues are not going to be exclusively solved by injuries. The OL has not been good when healthy. There's just too many holes with this team. LeotheLion
Steve Wilks and PJ Walker are our manna from heaven. Couldn't ask for a better 2 week stretch than that game going into a bye.

Speaking of the panthers though, I wonder if CMC/Burns or anyone are on the Rams radar

I would happily give up a future 7th for Darnold to come back to California. Get an opportunity to work with a real HC. If the O-line doesnt improve, there's a good chance Stafford won't make it to week 18 so having a high upside back up would be great.
stl4life07
Have we all forgotten about how the Niners started last season? They came into the season as most people favs to go to the Superbowl in the NFC and they started (2-3) just like the Rams. As a matter of fact they were worst bc they started (2-0) then lost four straight. They lost five out of their next six and was sitting at (3-5) before they got hot. Even getting hot it took them having to do something nobody has ever done to McVay and thats beat him when he has a halftime lead. So it took doing that the last game of the regular season just to sneak into the playoffs. Then everyone was calling the Niners the most dangerous playoff team. They went to Dallas and Green Bay and won. They had a 10pt 4th quarter lead against the Rams in Sofi. Had they not blown the biggest 4th quarter lead in an NFCCG I believe they wouldve beat the Bengals in the Superbowl. Again that team was left for dead the first 8 games of the season. So as fans we need to not be so quick to bury a team. The Rams will get healthy on the OL which btw need to gel. So having to replace Whit with Noteboom and Coleman starting too along side of Edwards, Allen, and Havenstein. Those guys need to gel together which means more snaps and games. Once we get Edwards, Allen, and Coleman back and allow them to play more than what a few quarters in the Buffalo game together I think they will gel and be decent. Then can we get our WR2 in possibly OBJ back and then WR3 in Van back? ARob has struggled but I still say give him more time in this offense and with Stafford. He might not put up elite numbers but I think he will make key plays when called upon eventually. He will do like OBJ did last season in the regular season where OBJ wasnt lighting it up but he made a key 4th down play against Baltimore then caught the game-winning td. I think ARob can carve a role for himself in this offense eventually. So Im not giving up on him after just 5 games. Talk to me 10-12 games into the season when it comes to ARob in this offense. Last thing is I want to see if Les is going to make a move before the trade deadline. So there is alot I want to see as this season goes long before I write the Rams off. The bottom of the NFC is weak. Unless you think the Giants have a playoff spot locked up then the Rams have a chance just by default. And I know the Giants have looked great so far but they have been playing well over their heads. They legit have no receiving weapons and the only real weapon they have is Barkley. Yes they are (4-1) but Im going to say they wont get to 10 wins. I believe 9 wins will get that 7th spot and we are talking about the Giants, the Saints, and Cards as the Rams real competition. Saints are a mess injury wise and Winston is really unreliable. The Rams already beat the Cards and they are a complete mess too. The only saving grace for them is waiting for D-Hop to come back but by then the hole can be too much to overcome. So just by default the Rams will get into the playoffs bc of how weak the bottom of the NFC is for teams fighting for the 7th spot. So Im not saying the Rams will be what the Niners were last season but Im saying dont do what most did with the Niners last season by writing them off. We know the coaching, talent, and culture this team has so lets see this season through. I still believe in this Rams team.
