RedGold
Flint OFFENSE We want to use our WR this week more than we have recently. Outside the odd 2-TE set we will be rolling with 3 or 4 WR sets Bunch Trips will be the primary looks. We would like to overload one side of the field and keep the defense off balance. Kamara would motion into the slot as a WR at times as well, usually to make the slot side into trips on the fly. Kamara or Deebo could also motion back to RB in a sweep or to set as a back. The idea this week is to avoid the RPO in most situation and focus on straight run and pass. We don't want Kittle to be wasting too much time having to block as we want him to get going as a receiver. We want to implement zone running and have Kamara run inside and find a hole more often than running outside but him, Singletary and Deebo will still see outside runs and short passes in the backfield to stretch the front 7 and keep them honest. We want our real threat to be the Josh Allen and the plan is to establish the run enough so that play action with our backs/WRs is a major threat. Josh Allen as usual has the green light to run. Going back to trips, the idea is to confuse the defense in their coverage assignments especially with Jonathan Jones out for the game. Somebody should be open for Josh. We want to win this game in the air. We expect a 70-30 pass to run split. We will run a few plays out of the wildcat with Kamara at QB and Singletary next to him to block/run. Deebo would motion across before for the possible handoff. Kamara will either run immediately or have an RPO with Singletary or Deebo. He will have the option to throw to Allen near the sideline, a tight end on the curl or Deebo in the slot after he motions. Screw it, we'll also replace Singletary with Kirk Cousins on some plays. Kamara would run up the gut after the snap and unless he thinks it's clear he'll hand off or fleaflicker it back to Cousins on a designed pass play and get the DBs caught off guard when Kamara isn't passing it. DEFENSE We are going to be entering this game confident to wreck the Sentinel O-line. Every single starter on that line has been well below average to bad this year (no offense to rookie Tyler Smith who is learning on the fly). On top of that, Darren Waller is very banged up. He is eligible to play because he is on bye but he left last game early and we highly doubt he is in game shape. We feel confident in stopping runs between the tackles and getting pressure on Carr with just a front 4 but we want to leave no room for doubt and will stack a 5th d-lineman on most downs. Our interioir lineman have success getting to the passer and we expect no difference here. We don't want the TEs to get a free release so the 5th lineman will be able to impede them without disrupting the rush and the DE and at least one of the DTs should be able to get a step on any outside runs or passes into the backfield. TJ Edwards will be tasked with playing zone in the middle of the field, mainly keeping an eye on the TE or slot receiver if either tries to make a move to the middle. Tyrann Mathieu will acting like a strongside linebacker for purposes of rushing the passer and stopping the rush but he will be playing many downs in coverage as a nickel corner or 3rd safety. When he isn't rushing the passer his priority will usually be keeping an eye on the linebacker or 2nd TE trying to get involved as a receiver. Kirksey or Scott will join as a 3rd LB for when we want to go to a more "traditional" 4-3 front, especially when they bring out 3 or more WRs. At times it would essentially disguise a 4-1-6 when we have Scott and Matthieu at LB with both of them focusing on coverage. Our last major look will be a 4-2-5 with Mike Hilton playing the nickel. Our outside corners will play man 70% of the game and low zone for most of the rest to prevent plays in the backfield while the Safeies or Safety turned LB will shift to cover the WRs in man or zone. The deep safeties will be tasked with helping get anyone that gets deep or to the back middle of the middle. In that last case, transferring from or joining duties with Edwards when his mark goes deep. When not in a 5-man front we will use cover 5 man and cover 2 zone as our main tactics with some other looks such as the cover 1 and 3 and odd cover 0 blitz to be used to keep the offense honest. All our unmentioned bench players will see significant time in rotation except for Julian Love and Dominique Robinson which will see minimal time. Ford will rotate in on 5-man front plays. Singapore Sentinels Offensive Strategy Formations: 3 WR Bunch formation (50%)/ 2 TE (35%)/ 2 RB (15%) Our primary formation will contain a single back, three receivers, and a tight end. Darren Waller is our TE1. 2 TE with Jonnu Smith will be in red zone and short yardage situations. We will also work in 2 RB and get both Jacobs and Hunt in the backfield at the same time. Scheme: Pass (65%) vs Run (35%) Passing Carr will have his trio of receivers to start the game - DeVonta Smith and Gabriel Davis are the outside/Deep WRs. Carr will look for a few back shoulder and post routes. Jakobi Meyers will do the work over the middle with crossing routes and slants to get clean separation. His security blanket Waller will hit the seams. DeVonta will be the focus this week of the passing game. Rushing Jacobs and Hunt will get the majority of the carries this week with Herbert spelling them. We will use outside zone runs to stretch the Flint DL out because they have a stout middle and set up the pass for Carr with some play action. The versatility of our offensive weapons allows them to line up in multiple spots and give Carr a quick out to move the ball. Surprise – Daniel Jones will get some wildcat work in the redzone. Defensive Strategy Formation: 4-3 Defense / 4-2-5 Nickel Pass Rush The Jones boys and Donald will get pressure with 4 rushers along with Ingram. The rotation off the bench in Nwosu and Ioannidis will make sure that our guys stay primed all day to keep that pressure on. Run Defense Going with 3 LB today to help against the run and pursuit of Josh Allen. Tackling machine Greenlaw will be a spy on Allen. Bentley is a thumper in the middle. JOK will be a spy on Kamara. Pass Defense Formation - Cover 3 Zone/Cover 1 Man Hybrid Mooney Ward, Jaycee Horn and Devin McCourty will be responsible for the deep-third zones with McCourty having the deep middle. Underneath, John Johnson will cover Kittle and Bentley will cover Hurst. Greenlaw will be a Spy on the QB. Coverage Assignments: · Deebo Samuel / Mooney Ward CB · D.J. Moore / Jaycee Horn - CB George Kittle / John Johnson - S · Hayden Hurst / Ja’Whuan Bentley LB Edited October 16, 2022 by RedGold

VigilantZombie
With only 3 active corners And Flint running for wide sets pretty much at any point in this game, I think the lack of depth is really gonna hurt Singapore. I think Singapore is gonna find them down in a hole that they cannot dig out of because Logically speakingAny offense is going to take extreme advantage of that. I like Flint here by 3 scores. 31-10 Flint

Not that it matters a ton because Mathis got cooked yesterday and both he and Fuller are unsuited for outside corner work. I think Flint tears them up through the air.

bcb1213
Offensive slug fest. Three corners is bad, even though the majority zone kind of helps, Mathis was a dumpster fire Monday night Flint 34-
Pickle Rick
I like Flint to get more pressure on the QB here than Singapore which ultimately decides the game late
rackcs
Yeah it's hard to vote against Josh Allen when he's facing such a depleted secondary. Singapore is unfortunately just one of those teams that's too beat up with injuries this season.
Scoundrel
I like this Singapore offense when they are all playing consistent football they are pretty good. The hurt secondary allows Flint to expose the corners a bit. Ward has played well this year and when that corner group is healthy they are quite good. Both teams using some wildcat is fun and I think a positive for both. I think the three linebackers against a 3 wide and Kittle with a pass catching back like Kamara are going to struggle to keep up with that scheme. JOK will make some plays but in the end Josh Allen and friends have the final say.
Ragnarok
I have to agree with the consensus here. Singapore is just too beat up to slow down the Flint offense.
