Forge
Clemson basically was Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown in the second half
NateDawg
Clemson is smoke and mirrors. Whoever the 1 seed is hoping they are in as the #4.
cp0k2
I don't think I've ever seen a single team turn the ball over 8 times in one game before. Way to go, 'Canes.
agarcia34
LSU is a terrible team.

I don't feel he's the most outstanding player in college football or even close to the most valuable. So much of his gaudy numbers come in garbage time when they're running it up when he should be out of the game. He's a great player, but not the best. They come in garbage time?? He's barely taken any snaps in the 4th quarter lol.

Doesn't have to be the 4th Quarter to be garbage time. Arkansas State: With a 31-9 lead, he threw 2 more TDs. Toledo : With a 49-21 lead, he threw another TD Wisconsin: With a 38-7 lead, he threw 3 more TDs. Michigan State: With a 35-13 lead, he threw 2 more TDs. Iowa: With a 33-10 lead, he threw 3 more TDs. That's all garbage time and stat padding.

So you want them to stop trying after getting up so much? Subjective terminology aside, imagine how much better his stats would be if teams actually kept it close! cp0k2
4th and 8 with the game on the line, let's throw a 25 yard fade. 🙃
cp0k2
And the Oscar goes to, Bryce Young. That flop would make soccer players blush.
buno67
@cp0k2 Lets look at last years heisman winner. Vs Southern Miss. up 28-0 Young throws 3 more TDs Vs NM ST. Up 35-3 Young throws 2 more TDs Vs Miami up 27-3 Young throws another TD pass. Vs. Mercer up 31-0 Young throws 2 more TDs. Vs. Miss ST up 28-9, Young throws 2 more TDs Vs Tenn up 45-21, Young Throws 1 more TDs So was Young now worthy of the Heisman last year? If you go up big early, you cant just shut everything down. You still need to run stuff and work on concepts in a live game. Also need to put things on film to set up future game plans as well
NateDawg
His numbers might suggest differently but CJ Stroud was not very good today.
candyman93
CJ is winning the heisman unless he loses to Michigan and Tennessee wins out.

Also need to put things on film to set up future game plans as well 6 games for Young stat padding last year and 5 already for Stroud with 5+ more to play? We'll see how it shakes out. But I think Young was the most outstanding player in the country last season. This season I don't see a clear front runner as far as best player, but Stroud definitely has the numbers. Like NateDawg said, he didn't look great today. He padded his stats late to make his box score look way better. And when I watch him I don't see it, I don't see a Heisman Trophy player. Just my opinion.
