I agree with you but it could be that they’d didn’t want to keep 3 QBs and knew Malik wouldn’t last on the PS. He’d be snatched up ASAP. There’s absolutely no reason for Woodside to start though. Woodside will play and throw the ball just as bad as Malik will behind this oline and sure maybe take less sacks but will throw more picks. Malik can at least run guys lmao. It's really a lose lose type but like KT said run the army offense haha use the wild cat all game idc unless we want to forfeit cause that is what starting woodside means unless the defense plays out of their mind and we get 4 turnovers and we might win 13-10 lmao. Can’t just go through the motions on a bum ankle. Unless adrenaline took him through the last 5 mins of the game and it got way worse overnight he’s probably fine. I guess I meant to say, whatever injury he had, had the potential to be worse if he still played. And to be honest I hope they learned from that Henry injury to not just let a guy play because he has earned it, because you can possibly make an injury worse or cause another. I wasn’t a huge fan of his regardless but for a 3rd round pick, you couldn’t pass him up. Dude has a long way to go to be an NFL starting QB. They’ve already told Malik to not run as much so effectively they’ve taken his best weapon away. Although if I was a QB, I wouldn’t want to stay in the pocket behind this OL either. I imagine we could put something together to play to his strengths, and give him some reasonable reads. I goofed above and meant to say I doubt he practices, therefore I doubt he plays. Im not "scared" for him but when your best player has a injury you wanna know if he's okay the day after. And playing the rest of the game doesn't mean anything to me.
