I actually liked him stepping up into the pocket and trying to run toward the first down, Buckner made a good play to circle back and get him. One of the things I really like about Heinicke is that he is willing to take off and sacrifice his body to get first downs. It is also a reason that he gets hurt so often. I would’ve rather seen McKissic get the ball & run for the 1st down. I do like how Heinicke plays but when you have a guy open right there, get him the ball & save your body.
