Our ST killed us. Twice did our kickoffs our punts make it easy for them to get into FG range. Why even pass when you can just run it a bit and come away with 3? Also the missed FG is what kept us from re-establishing the run game. Missed that and ended up down 6 too soon. Penalties saved the Pats. The helmet-to-helmet kept the drive alive for their first 3 points (like what is Mosely supposed to do? Let him dive head first for the first?), and obviously the pick 6 that took 6 off the board for us and gave them 3. The last nail in the coffin was the holding call that put us on the 5. Good luck trying to get a scoring drive when BB knows you have 1st and long from your own endzone. Zach was good when he wasn't throwing interceptions. So many nice throws over the zone and he nearly dropped a dime to Conklin for a TD on the 4th and 5. Hero ball killed him today, but I this wasn't a Sam seeing ghosts type game. Our OL is not good. Couldn't run, couldn't pass protect. We are missing AVT as much as we are missing Breece. Our Defense is still elite. We had a tough time stopping the run but they were running no huddle and gassing our guys a ton, yet so many times we stopped them. Had the Pats started on their own 20 most of the game, many of those FGs are not on the board. We aren't far off from being a top team. We just can't have games where the wheels fall off like they did. On point with pretty much everything. We didn't get a single break, shot ourselves in the foot multiple times. KingOfNewYork
Lost in all the Zach stuff is how the Patriots were not once called for OPI for blocking down the field. There was one play, I think the touchdown where Gardner was blocked damn near in the EZ before Jones threw the pass. No flag.

I really wish there was some way refs could be held accountable for multiple obvious no calls that impact the game one way or the other. Can't believe we get a TD taken away and they get one given on blown calls, but no one wants to hear that narrative. Everyone just wants the SOJ to be back. NYJets4716
The refs really screwed us on this game.
Big T
Lets get something straight, Leflur has been inconsistent with his play calling. Either he has no answer in the first half of games or the Jets score a ton of points in the 4th quarter. Either he runs the ball or he has his QB's throw 50 times in a game. I don't think he's the answer at OC. How do you as an OC who's game when Breese was playing was your staple for points abandoned. The Jets trade for a quality RB to carry part of the load because of the absence of Breese, and you have your RB's carry the ball 15-17 times for the game? What of Moore? Is he wrong? Moore isn't underutilized, he has been forgotten as has Wilson the last few games after breaking out with a 2 TD game. When everyone was singing the praises of the rookie class from Gardner to Wilson. This is on the OC. Zac needs to improve no doubt, but you put your QB in the best position to succeed. It took Q to get the attention of the DC and the Jets D became potent. Who's going to stare down the OC and get the Jets from 32nd in the league in O out of the basement. Even with the best D in football. Your fighting an uphill battle. Time for the Jets to reassess the OC and if need be move on.
