What would the all overrated team look like?

biggie.

Recommended Posts

QB: Kyler Murray | Russell Wilson | Matthew Stafford (there's so many bad QB's this year)

RB: Najee Harris | Joe Mixon | Jonathan Taylor

WR: Allen Robinson | Kadarius Toney | Jerry Jeudy | Chase Claypool | <insert Jets WR here>

TE: Kyle Pitts (though, this is basically because Arthur Smith would rather eat his own face than give Pitts targets)

(I don't care about OL)

(I don't care about DL, either)

and then the only player on defense I'm going to throw out there is JC Jackson. Most overrated defender in the NFL.

Not really sure how Najee is overrated when almost everyone, including Steeler fans, believe he is average at best.

That’s pretty much what these threads always are. A bunch of players that barely anyone rates that high.

Same with underrated. If once every Bills game they mention how good and underrated Matt Milano is, he isn’t underrated anymore.

My criteria were basically players highly touted in the offseason or highly praised who have not delivered at all. So overrated === disappointing, pretty interchangeable. Najee was pretty highly regarded last year. At this point in time, nobody really thinks highly of any players on my list at all.

Maybe for 2022 trying to make a complete team that on paper would look like in August should be a potential undefeated candidate, that in reality likely would be hoping for .500

QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Jonathan Taylor
WR: Kenny Golladay
WR: Juju Smith-Schuster
TE: Darren Waller
LT: Cam Robinson
LG: Andrus Peat
OC: Ryan Kelly
RG: Zach Martin
RT: Spencer Brown

DE: Jadaveon Clowney
DT: Daron Payne
DT: Fletcher Cox
DE: Chandler Jones
LB: CJ Mosley
LB: Deion Jones
CB: JC Jackson
CB: Trevon Diggs
Nickle: Byron Murphy
S: John Johnson
S: Jamaal Adams

A-Rob, Gabe Davis, and Renfrow all got serious love this offseason. So did Chandler Jones going to LV and JC Jackson going to LA.

No clue why Gabe Davis is in this post. top 5 in the nfl in receiving TDs and #1 in YPC while missing a game from injury and already having his bye.

he missed a game due to his ankle sprain and tried to play the next two weeks but was very limited.

Deshaun

1 win 2 losses in the playoffs

85 qb rating making 60 million he maybe the most overrated qb in the history of the NFL.

Points

7 in the 4th quarter verses indy

19 verses kc when they down by 30.

Buffalo 23 points

That is a average of 19 points per game for 60 million.

In regards to Byron Murphy it might be a stretch to call him overrated. His SIS advanced data charts are pretty good lining up out wide. Slot defense is poorer but not atrocious. Arizona is highly rated in DVOA covering #1 receivers. Last year they were surprisingly good there too. He might be getting help with doubles though.

Pretty good list. But Clowney has been good actually. He is elite against the run and pretty good in pass rush. Not sure he is overrated nowadays.

John Johnson is atrocious. The idea that he was an above average safety is now dead. He is well below average at this point.
