Don't get me wrong, it most certainly should get easier for our team. But never underestimate our franchise's ability to lose a game we have no business losing (like we lost to the 0-13 Colts). That was the year we finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs by 1 game...

That game sucked but looking back on that season, the season was practically over after the 2nd half of the Cinci game. Hasselbeck was playing pretty damn well(had some down moments, but meh) up through that game, and led us on if I recall back to back TD drives to end the first half vs Cinci with a 17-7 lead, and after that he was never the same.

He was at the point in his career where his body could no longer handle a full season. Even saw it with the Colts a few years back when he filled in for Luck. Was really good for like a 3-4 game stretch then fell apart.

However the only team we even beat that year that was worth a **** was Baltimore(we beat Houston to end the year but Schaub was out of that game/they started Jake Delhomme). We rarely ever beat any team with a pulse under Munchak. 2011 Baltimore might have been the only truly good team we ever beat with Munchak.

With Mularkey at HC we've at least had wins over KC, Packers and Seahawks, and other wins over playoff caliber teams in Detroit, Jacksonville and Denver.

If it's any constalation prize, they did beat the Texans the week after us and barely lost to the Jags.  So.....there's that...right?  :)

Vols just lost 8 games in a single season for the first time ever. UT and Ohio State were the only two teams in the country able to say they'd never lost 8 in a season before today.

Please don't blow this playoff opportunity, Titans. UT has filled me with enough disappointment.

I still have the Badgers. At least for another 170 hours or so.

i had the canes until yesterday, but if we're being honest even if we lose the acc championship game and end up in the orange bowl that is a wildly successful season with the roster we have so i'm not that mad

the titans, on the other hand.......it's just hard for me to see them *not* blowing this. which is a lot of battered fan syndrome speaking. but god we better beat the damn colts
