biggie.
Both are top five picks taken by the Jets and have been embarassments (then again the Jets themselves are an embarassment). Stats from the first 18 starts from both: Wilson: 271/484, 3082, 12, 16, 7-11 Darnold: 349/588, 3942, 23 TD, 22 INT, 5-
HerbertGOAT
Darnold had to deal with Gase, and his poor play led to higher draft positions which should have directly benefitted Wilson. I'd definitely go with Wilson thus far. Though truly, both might not have been top 35 QBs in the league at their respective peaks.
Hunter2_1
Inb4 lock but I think so far Zach is actually worse 😑

aussie_eagle
Wilson is really bad. If they put Flacco in starting next game they would be the 5th seed in the playoffs with a record like 10-7/11-6. If Wilson plays every game the rest of the season they wont get to 8 wins. AFlaccoSeagulls
Zach Wilson and it's not particularly close. That team has so much receiving talent it's criminal to allow him to play over Joe Flacco.
diamondbull424
Just imagine if they wouldn’t have overthought it and just selected Justin Fields, who was the 1b best QB in college football with all the offensive talent they have on that squad vs what Fields is dealing with. One dude is a professional and the other is an F-boy. Easy choice.
KhanYouDigIt
This is easily Zach Wilson. Sam was throwing to a bunch of 3/4’s. Jets have surrounded Zach with weapons and he still stinks. Has some of the worst pocket presence I have ever seen. He bails from clean pockets on the regular. He has no feel for the game, especially when he’s under pressure. Jets have been hiding him and when they couldn’t on Sunday vs the Pats, we saw what happened. I will be surprised if he’s the starter against the Pats after the bye.
Danger
Darnold looked "bad" to me, with inferior supporting cast. Zach Wilson has good weapons and looks inept.
SodeeWater_Cheezburger
People need to give these young guys time before writing them off. I think a lot of you are bailing on Wilson too early. He could turn it around with some more playing time.
