Captain Relax
Seahawks defense is having their way with the Cardinals, but are only leading by 3. Crazy NFL season.
vike daddy
Justin Fields had 178 rushing yards, the most by a quarterback in a single game in the Super Bowl era. The previous record was held by Michael Vick, who had 173 yards against the Vikings in Week 13, 2002. Fields was also the first player since at least 1950 with 150-plus rushing yards and three-plus passing TDs in a single game. https://www.nfl.com/news/2022-nfl-season-week-9-what-we-learned-from-sunday-s-games

The last Packers quarterback to do so was Brett Favre against the Lions in Week 15, 2006. https://www.nfl.com/news/2022-nfl-season-week-9-what-we-learned-from-sunday-s-games It’s also the first time since December 2017 since he’s thrown 3 interceptions. And that was when he was trying to come back early from his collarbone injury. Before that you have to go back to 2008, his first year as a starter.
vike daddy
The Colts were 0 for 14 on third downs. The subject line says it all. This was about as bad an offensive performance as a team can have. Sam Ehlinger certainly had his share of poor reps, but this was a total team meltdown. Ehlinger was sacked nine times (nine times!) and was pick-sixed late for good measure. Not having Jonathan Taylor played a role, of course, but this was flat-out embarrassing for the Colts all the way around, top to bottom. https://www.nfl.com/news/2022-nfl-season-week-9-what-we-learned-from-sunday-s-games

SemperFeist
I thought it was a good move and for fortune for the Bucs to promote Bowles and keep Leftwich. But, this is just bad.

The NFL's decision making isn't very mercurial then, huh? They seem pretty consistent!

vike daddy
Aaron Rodgers was the Packers’ leading rusher today with four carries for 40 yards, while the Lions’ defense held AJ Dillon to 11 carries for 34 yards and Aaron Jones to nine carries for 25 yards. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/11/06/aaron-rodgers-frustrated-but-says-theres-no-hindsight-about-his-decision-not-to-retire/
