They have to be the saddest fanbase in sports. Dolphin fans especially on twitter, super toxic. They made a million excuses. Like we don't have injuries. We are missing multiple impact players. The fact that Tua didn't play, doesn't excuse getting 40 points put on you. Imagine if we had a OL that had Becton and AVT on the OL? If we had Breece Hall at RB still? No Corey Davis at WR. It was trending in that direction. Slow starts, bad third quarters, lack of adjustments. I don't see this two man race thing tho. Him, Daboll, Carroll, O'Connell and Sirianni all have cases. Players are stepping up all over, our DL pressure rate is up tremendously from the first game, Joyner isn't getting beat over the top, OL is run blocking better, we aren't dropping passes like we were early in the season, etc... Jets fans definitely overreact to things and are quick to jump to conclusions. We have a very positive building right now, we have a HC and GM who work great together and are building a really good football team the right way. We should enjoy this. A lot of teams are jealous of the energy the Jets have, a lot of that is the passion that Saleh brings every day. He is a culture changing HC, he brings a positive energy in what has been a very negative and toxic building. He hasn't been perfect, but he is definitely my favorite HC since Rex. I like him more than Rex because I like that he is trying to be a CEO. Not just a DC. I like his communication skills and how he connects with players. Like actual discussions, now its just a few trolls who weirdly go out of their way to bash the Jets no matter what. You can't even have discussions because they are just going to troll. Their predictions are laughable, multiple of them said that the Jets were going to have the 1st overall pick. One claimed that Zach Wilson was going to be benched after the Bills game and career over, now he is backtracking. The main boards are complete trash now. Heard some crazy stat on the radio that teams that throw 25 times or less with a top 10 defense win like 75% where those same teams that throw over 30 or whatever win a shade under 50%. IDK how good he will be, he is obviously very talented but the awareness isn't there yet. He is a much better QB when he just takes off and runs sometimes, he is pretty fast but sometimes he wants to throw and not run. He should be able to pick up a few first downs every game on the ground. Our defense is legit. Elite CB tandem. Sauce is a special talent at CB, DJ Reed is really good, and Carter is a good NB. Then you add Davis coming back and maybe Max Mitchell. I think the one part that is very underrated now is how well Brown is playing LT. He was a perfect fit for this team. If he can stay on the field for the rest of the season and lock down that LT spot that is huge to get someone like that off the streets.
