YES! We did it! We traded William Jackson to Steelers!

Notice how the defense was markedly better, especially on third downs, with Jackson on the bench.

Not all of it’s on Jackson, and I don’t fault Jackson that much, because the coaching staff brought in a player whose skill set was opposite what they wanted to do, but we are definitely doing better on that side with him no longer here.

I am not sure I follow this.  So if I got this right:

1)We give them a 2024 6th rounder

2)Steelers give us a 2025 7th rounder

3)We still eat the 9 million dead cap next year

4)Steelers take on about 3 million of this year's cap

So basically we paid a 6th rounder for 3 million in cap space?

No, we send a 7th and get a 6th, conditional. We don't know the conditions though . The rest seems correct , 9 million dead cap etc.

If you just assumed 75% of all Washington free agent signings won’t work out, you’d probably be underestimating their ineffectiveness

Add him to the list of Josh Norman and Landon Collins and the failed QBs . Curtis Samuel may redeem himself here. He's been a help here and there so far this season.  We should just stick with second tier F As- at least they don't break the bank .
