A disclaimer: I do not own a PFF subscription but my friend does and sent me this list to post it. PFF is obviously flawed, and in some cases downright laughable, I do not necessarily share their opinions on the top/worst players. Still, this should be interesting. Keep in mind their new player grade scale lists players via a 1-100 format. Also keep in mind that players of most positions who do not have a certain Snap % are not included (I think its like 25%).

Didn't realize how bad and arbitrary PFF was until this year after they changed some grades on Quinnen and Sauce after they got called out on Twitter for questionable grades.  The one guy grading them one week was a die hard Dolphins fan and had posted a bunch of Jets hate on Twitter and for some reason they had low grades that week.  Just really pathetic stuff from them.

I'd love to hear the justification on this one, because I think most would say he's been the best RB for us so far, or at least the most consistent. Particularly in the passing game, he's our go to guy when we stop running the ball, so I would've thought his pass blocking would elevate him at least.

I would agree with this. Half expected to see Trey Smith on the low end, he's had some issues coming back from injury, but the bar for bad OL play can get pretty low sometimes, so he may still be average.

He's having an absolutely fantastic season, and it's going to be tragic when we inevitably can't afford him like every other CB that has succeeded here for the last like decade. I'm glad that their formula can appreciate him, too, because a lot of what he succeeds at isn't exactly...traditional? Not the greatest boundary pure coverage guy (though not bad at it), but man can he tackle like nobody I can remember in a long time at CB. Impeccable blitz timing as well.

Love love love seeing Jones at the top of the list. Was worried the penalties might derail him, as he's had some big (and inaccurate) ones this year. But it is no small feat to be ahead of Aaron Donald ever in literally anything, and I really hope he gets the attention he deserves for this season. He'd get a lot more praise than he does, IMO, if he wasn't permanently stuck in second place at best because Donald exists.

First one I disagree with, here. Karlaftis hasn't been amazing or anything, but he's been solid. Gets far more pressures than he does sacks, so he'll need to improve on closing those plays out. But he has been impactful, and has been a good run defender as well. Couple pass deflections as well. Would've expected pretty middle of the pack here, not the very bottom.

Definitely. Butker might work his way here if he keeps struggling. Feels like he isn't right after the injury still, but we'll see. Kickers who aren't Justin Tucker are all streaky, after all.

Not that bad, but not particularly good either. But he's missed the past couple of games and is being forced to play a lot of soft zone when his biggest strength is playing man. Plus, I feel like there's been a few years where Ward would start off a bit slow and get better as the season went on.
