8 games left and all the Vikings need to do is be one game better than Philly.

And now, both teams' remaining schedules are fairly close, and The Eagles still have 2 tough in-division games against teams that are capable of beating them.  We just need to beat Dallas, New England, and The Giants at home.  We should win the rest of the games.  They must beat The Giants at home and away, and beat The Cowboys at Dallas, and a Saints team that might be healthier and play better than they did earlier this season.

And with Dallas losing, too, The Vikings have more breathing room having them farther away from passing The Vikings IF things go wrong and we lose a few games.  So, at least the 2nd seed in The NFC is looking fairly good right now, with The #1 as a possibility.  2 home games in the playoffs is a decent possibility.  Just keep concentrating on one game at a time, and keep winning!

Dallas, or any other NFC East team, is irrelevant for the 2nd seed. Regardless of the record, whoever finishes 2nd in the NFC East can only be as high as the 5th seed.

Detroit, Chicago and Green Bay are capable of beating us too. Detroit almost did.

So great to see Eagles fans crying about penalties while the Vikings have had a DB trucked by a ref for a TD, 12 men on the field in OT on the goal line, a drop not reviewed, and horse collar for tackling by the jersey and still won their games.

That last one you mentioned was one of the more egregious calls and wasn't even mentioned by the announcers despite it being clearly obvious that his hands were nowhere near his collar.
