This is going 100% how it was planned to go. This is the best case scenario.

-The QB is a super hero who is carrying an understaffed O to relevance.

-The D is trash.

The refs are just making sure that it goes how it is suppose to.

So it seems like refs are against us.  But they are really for us.

Well, if you wanted to know how the feelings that fuel conspiracy theories work: see, Bears, last two games.

However when you start to ask motive, you would really wonder if Vegas/NFL/Hoffa/Obama have a vested interest in keeping the Bears' draft pick in the tens. It's ihilarious until you realize that lots and lots of people have accepted this as fact, usually on the backs of horribly edited youtube. Worked with a guy who showed me one of those and it took a while for us realize that I thought he was joking and he thought it was very serious convincing stuff.

My wife got annoyed with me for trying to teach the kids what holding is.  They've been doing it to each other since yesterday and throwing little flags.  It's glorious how insane having kids around can be.

Agreed about it being best case scenario. We talked before the season that if Fields could stand out with this collection of spare parts it would say a lot about what his long term prospects are. He has, and it does. As my kids would say, that’s a massive dub.

It was also discussed how if we could get this offense to be even average with the defense as constructed that this team would have a shot to win some games because our defense should be competent enough to keep games competitive. Once we got to the point where the offense was doing just that, Poles traded away our two most accomplished defenders and undermined their ability to do so.

What’s happening here seems to be going exactly according to Poles’ expectations and plans long term. With that said, that doesn’t make it any less frustrating to watch the team come up just short week in and week out. Losses still suck even when they’re (hopefully) a means to a more desirable end.

When my kids were like 12 daughter and 9 son I taught my daughter how to do a triangle choke.  (She asked)

Then she nearly killed my son LOL.  Well nearly made him pass out anyway.

Probably going to buy her a real sword for Christmas.  (16 now).  Don't tell my wife.

I kind of don't understand this thread anymore....

Fields needs to keep progressing is basically just saying nothing....he literally already is setting records

The defense sucks...i think we have like the most cap space ever and 7 draft picks

The Oline actually looks good to me

I just don't get these comments

We are in a rebuild, like....just watch the rebuild haha

I don't understand your post, according to you the passing game is fine and doesn't need to progress.

As Bears fans we've jumped through more rickety hoops. Lol

Son did BJJ and loved it before we moved for my job in 2019. Did it at two places before Louisville but couldn't get it to match up. Daughter didn't want to take time out of dance or anything so he taught her what he learned. Cool dynamic, right?

Well the first time he learned an armbar I didn't want him to show her ON her, so I had him do it on me. Dude didn't realize he was able to use the full body so he snapped back way too hard. I tried to shoot up and bend my arm back, and elbowed him really hard in the groin. So in 3 seconds he nearly blew out my elbow, he found out what it was like to be hit in the balls and she learned how effective a **** in the nuts was against boys. He was crying, she was concerned, I couldnt stop laughing.  Hahaha

People wondered why they kept him after the Mack move? This is why. Now, his presence isn’t really worth 20 ppg, but it obviously mattered.

Weirdly, Quinn has only played something like 46 snaps for Philly since the trade.

Someone tell me what Jones was thinking on this play:

If the rusher wasn't untouched he probably would have made the throw on that in. That being said, if he had processed it faster he would have been able to throw before getting hit too. He was getting hit regardless but still. I wonder if he was worried the WR wouldn't be able to cross the safety's face in time.

Learning curve moment there, happy its happening now and hopefully happens seldom later seasons.

And then PHI signed Suh and Linval Joseph. Its almost like they want to secure the division then rest Cox, Hargrave, and Graham, which would be an awesome/ballsy move.
