Sugashane
My distinguished Air Force career entailed tearing my ACL on a timed run and spending 3 months in the 319th. Entered with a waiver for my knee so it was an automatic discharge without a chance to appeal. Gotta say, after planning to enlist and planning so much around it for almost 10 years... that sucked. lol Happy Veterans Day!

The only injury I had was cervical strain from a bad fall. That and food I was injured several hundred times by army food.

Stepped on a guys foot while lapping him during a week 7 run. I was on a track and instead of sticking to the outside he waddled to the inside. Went to cut inside of him and stepped on his foot then pop. MTI at least requested I get to watch the graduation and say bye to my flight. Dude that was escorting me was so happy to get out of his dorm. lol New surgeon fixed my knee better than it had been since I first hurt it. Only time food was a big issue for me was when I worked kitchen duty. Snagged a bunch of hot chocolate packets that was for the MTIs and put them in my canteens. I think one MTI knew something was up because he yelled for us to HYDRATE when he walked by us before physical therapy, so since I had two I had to empty both of them. 🤢
