He won't be in game shape until he's in games. And you don't need to throw him out there for 30+ snaps on Sunday. Put him in for 5-10 snaps and just let him run, hear the home crowd, have routes called, get a feel for the speed of the game, etc. Ease him in slowly in the offense but let him get that experience so he knows what to work on this off-season. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just Want A Title Posted December 2, 2022 Share Posted December 2, 2022 He may be talented and fast but he seems rusty even if he won't call it rusty. Ja'Marr Chase had some issues with drops in his first pre-season after a long layoff following knee surgery/rehabilitation. That turned out OK. I am just glad he is getting quality reps.
