OMG Hackett accepted a holding penalty instead of a 6 yard sack?

Sorry, 2nd and 16 is far better than 1st and 20.   The FG prevention with 4 fewer yards isn't worth it.

Just when you think you can limit Hackett's involvement in the game.    The fact LV missed the FG is just the result justifying bad process.

Russell Wilson is as big a problem with this offense - and by extension this team, and by extension this franchise - as anything.

Sutton needs to catch that yes but if Russ hits him in stride it’s a 1st down+, not a drop and a FG attempt.

Man, that ball isn't off the fingertips, it's ahead of Sutton leading him, it's on both of his hands and not off his finger tips.    Sutton wouldn't even argue that he's got to have that one.

Russ has been downright bad several games, but I don't know how you can put that on him.   He has to lead Sutton to get him past the marker there, given the slant hits him 2-3 yards short of the first down.

He did on the last play, got burned for a TD even with help over the top. Let’s quit with the BS before we anoint him the next Champ Bailey.

Look at the replay, he played it as zone, handing it off to the safety inside - and not shadow coverage.    When it's shadow, he's gone press-man.

The slant was such a nice basic play that we have not seen much of this season. Offense looking exceptional in comparison to past games....also could be the raiders though

It absolutely could be the Raiders D - outside of Max Crosby, none of the pass rushers have generated good pressure.   And the CB's are beatable (usually with quick-twitch guys and the TE's - not as much the big body box-out guys).   But what has been good to see is the diversity in routes, and the willingness to go downfield, but with quick reads.   Once the read's past 2.5 secs we're in trouble with this OL.

That's an awful call on Crosby.

It's the rule....which is dumb.    As much as I want to protect QB's, it's definitely gone too far as when QB's become runners in the open field.    No problem with saying you can't hit at the knees, or the head, when in the pocket - or the head anytime.   But that's just brutal.
