Romo keeps talking about how both Moore and Quinn will be gone next year.  Would love the Cowboys to keep Quinn.

Moore won't be a HC next year. At least IMO. He is still a roller coaster playcaller and hasn't really shown the consistency you look for as a coach. Unless he blows someone away in an interview, he will be here again next season. And it's unlikely he blows someone away in an interview because the rumor mill was, his interview process last season was rather flat. Remember his coaching career has been very short overall. This isn't a McVay type who came up as an assistant under some stellar coaching minds and earned his keep early. He basically went from backup QB to QB coach to OC faster than he realistically deserved.

I'd bet that If he does end up someplace as the top coach, it'll be for a.big time program in college

Quinn on the other hand? Only way he stays is if McCarthy is out and he is in...

Gonna be hard to keep either if things continue.

Moore has put out some pretty good offenses. His playcalling makes you scratch your head at times. But he’s had success and got a handful of wins with a backup Qb this year.

and Quinn has completely changed this defense. He’s always been a known commodity anyways, but the way he took this defense from very average st best and at times passive looking to downright dangerous isn’t going unnoticed.

Quinn only stayed in Dallas because the opportunity was better here for success than in any position he was potentially offered elsewhere. Moore was flat in his interviews. Too little experience.

Moore has the potential to be that Payton, McVay, energetic leader and creative play design guy who can have success if he hires the right defensive guy to help. But the consistency needs to start showing up week to week first I'd think, before he is given a true opportunity.

But don't forget.. Romo and others all said the same thing all last year, too. It's easy to say how great a coordinator will be as a HC next year after a dominant win. No one was saying these same things after that flat night loss to Philly or after Daks multi pick game the other week.

Hard to see a coach leave who has made such an impact on the team.  Quinn has turned this once turd unit into a dominate force.

The D wasn't all that bad prior to Nolan's single year here. And a lot of his concepts have actually carried over. He kind of helped usher in the new, modern hybrid front alignment most teams use now. There are very few clear cut 43 front or 34 front teams anymore. Nolan sucked as a playcaller but his under/over concepts helped push the unit into what Quinn has turned it into.

But prior to Nolan, the D had some good years and some bad years under Marinelli and Kiffin. But overall they weren't a terrible unit. They were more just lacking in quality depth. They have that now with the investments made in the last 3 drafts.

I by far love the more aggressive style we are using vs the old bend but don’t break style
