DontTazeMeBro
If Deion is successful they’re only getting him until the FSU job is available.

agarcia34
It ain’t gonna work out for Deion in Colorado. Wanted to see him succeed as a coach but he picked a terrible team to take over. If he wins 6-7 games a year I guess it would be a win for him, but people acting like he’s gonna poach these kids from other schools like USC did is just hilarious. Colorado is an amazing school, amazing campus, amazing location. There's no reason he can't succeed there. Especially in the Pac 12 post USC. Never makes it to a bowl game at Colorado Edited December 4, 2022 by agarcia34

That's huge for Colorado considering their main issue is QB play. They open with TCU which is an L but then they get Nebraska, Colorado State, Arizona State and Arizona in 4 straight games. Stanford is game 7. They could very well be 5-2 after that Stanford game. USC, Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Wazzu isn't an ideal finish but they steal that Wazzu game and they're bowling potentially. agarcia34
Arizona, Nebraska and ASU with Dillingham all better than Colorado.

Easy to say with conjecture now but Prime will succeed there. EDIT - And Nebraska sucks. Especially early in the season. Honestly, with the shape Colorado is in, him winning 6-7 games either of the next two years probably lines him up for a major job somewhere really competitive. It's a stepping stone for him to prove he can do something at the top level. Nobody expects him to turn Colorado into a powerhouse. I'd say it's a win-win. Sanders gets a chance to prove his worth as a HC in the big leagues without a ton of risk as he only needs to do a mediocre job to really garner attention, if it doesn't work out it's not like Colorado is a burgeoning powerhouse to begin with, and the university gets some love and attention while almost certainly jockeying for new pastures in a post-Pac12 world.
broncosfan07
The biggest problem for CU is that other than only a partial buy in with Tucker they haven’t taken football seriously since we hired Hawkins. CU is changing it’s transfer requirements and finally taking NIL seriously to actually compete in modern CFB. Prime can absolutely recruit to Colorado, it’s been done before it just takes buy in from the entire school.
