This was suppose to get fixed when they hired Beck to work with him. Well it did not do anything. This to me is the final nail for him. I don't know if he is even a backup QB at this point. I think we have another Josh Rosen situation here. I would move Wilson by the draft and try to get a second round pick for him. I think some team will give up a second for him. Losing a game we should have easily won is embarrassing, losing 14 straight to that team and him missing wide open guys is just annoying. For how much I hate the Patriots, that game and him not taking accountability for it really made me lose faith. I am excited to see Mike White this week, see if he can get the offense to be competent. We are about to start the part of our season where we play easier defenses. The past 4 games we played 3 of the hardest defenses in the league to throw against. Now we play some of the weaker defenses the rest of the way, except for the Bills we still play them. I'm curious to see how Mike White can operate the offense, we know that Flacco looked washed in the beginning of the season, so I am glad we moved to White to give him a chance to show what he can do. Last season he at least looked confident running the offense, we'll see how he does now with better weapons. I support Wilson being benched, he is all out of whack and needs to sit. His mechanics are off, he can't make easy reads and throws, and isn't taking accountability. If they kept playing him the locker room will be lost and you he will continue to play bad, he needs to sit back and focus on the fundlementals. He looks nothing like the player he looked like in college, he seems off on everything and scared to make mistakes. I believe Robert Saleh is a good HC, I respect how he operates the team and we'll have to see how this plays out. But I am excited to see how Mike White plays this week and if he can provide a spark. After the last game, I would expect our local HS QB to make this O look more competent. I just really hope we either get a decent FA QB in the offseason or Zach works out his “yips”. Preferably both. It is embarrassing that this team just never can figure out the QB position, we have a team that literally could compete for the SB if we had a QB. It is annoying that we consistently fail at finding a QB. Wilson is very frustrating, Idk what his deal is. He has so much talent but just fails to get it mentally, he doesn't look like anything close to the QB he was in college. It isn't a situation where he doesn't work hard, he is a very hard worker, there is something mentally he just isn't getting. His mechanics are all over the place, might be because he got scared of the instant pressure our OL gives up and it shook him. He would have to defy odds to make it at this point. But it was the same thing with Sam Darnold, he had the talent to play QB in this league but mentally he just couldn't figure it out. Right now, Wilson is worse than Sam was. Sauce is #1 in the league is pass deflections and is graded as the #1 CB in the league. If he has another big game and shut down Jefferson next week? Insane.
