all we had to do was just like not allow 5 big plays on the last drive, too.

You as a receiver have to see the marker and open space and understand that taking a knee there and kicking a FG with seconds to spare is easier to defend than allowing a good QB 2 min to go down the field there.

Lawrence is dog **** my dude and we're supposed to have a top 5 defense. I'm not going to be mad at our 3rd string TE for scoring on a wide open play against his former team.

It's incumbent on the coach to relay that to the offense, not on the receiver to make that split second decision.

Damn. If Tucker would’ve made that one, that would’ve guaranteed HOF status IMO. No way anyone would’ve ever topped that one.

We lost this game by two yards. If the defense could’ve sucked a little faster

OR if the time clock operator wouldn’t have consistently taken additional time away when the Ravens had the ball only, we likely get those yards and win.

But the offense didn’t do enough early and the defense didn’t do anything late. And Duvernay put the offense in a terrible spot with his boneheaded ST idiocy. Team loss.

It is tough, but you're right. Relay that on the play prior. We had a situation in the 2011-12 SB where the Giant RB tried not to score a TD but ended up falling in and giving Brady time. In this case, they'd have given them the ball back at the 25 with 8-10 seconds left up 2. You just have to realize that's a better position than leaving their defense out there for a full two minutes.

Once again the NFL is trash and make up rules as they ******* go. His thigh is clearly out of bounds and down before his second foot comes down, but whatever. The fact of the matter is this, the Ravens should be embarrassed for trotting out Buddy Stephens each week and for that defense to allow Trevor ******* Lawrence to march down the field with no timeouts. Absolutely insane. LJ8 missed a ton of TDs and Greg Roman is still an idiot. Move forward to next week.

Actually now that I think about the play you are wrong. Oliver is running full speed toward the goal line and there is a defender who is bearing down on him to hit him before the goal line. If Oliver slows down to stop at the 1/2 yard line, he'll get tackled before he reaches the 1.

Team loss, for sure.

Peter's is downright bad right now. Lamar isn't consistent enough and Hamiltons absense was really noticed.

You just try to slide when you have that open space as the offensive player... right before the goal line and past the sticks. It's a difficult play, but not if the communication had been relayed prior.

which it clearly wasn't, which is unfortunate but if your defense can't stop the ******* jaguars with no timeouts and an entire field to drive down then what's the point?
