Starchisaga
Maybe it’s me but after the Giants game, when LaFleur threw the D under the bus (when the Offense couldn’t get a first down to save their life). The TEAM was LOST. (I worried at the time - it wasn’t just the defense’s fault.) Whether this was LaFleur mis-speaking - or toting the management “line,” it slowly became evident that GB was / is tied too desperately to Aaron Rodgers. Hiding the broken thumb proved it. Since, it seems apparent, both the O and the D are (or have become) without ambition. (Would you have drive if blamed for another’s deficiencies? Simple psychology.) This team - top to bottom - Pres. to GM to Coach is a sell-out to playing a past legend. Recently someone said, “but if they don’t play AR they will get calls and people won’t be happy!” (less tickets sold). What? So….. “they?” TV ratings over winning? Lombardi is rolling over in his grave. For the LONG TERM of the GBP, play Love to see what you have. Understanding we’re hand-cuffed next year JUST see what we have. And, if you want to make Lombardi proud, BENCH the $100m man if he isn’t good enough! Let the greatest franchise in the history of the NFL set precedent - no ONE is above the TEAM. WHEN PRIDE STILL MATTERED. (good book)
