MLF really killed us with some of the redzone play calling. Knight is a tough runner, but we avoided giving him the ball at the goal line. rickyt31 Posted December 4, 2022 Share Posted December 4, 2022 This may sound crazy, but this game proves that we're as good as any team out there even with the major injuries on offense. Credit to the Vikings defense, but we killed ourselves early and often. Flags, White starting off shaky, and poor coaching decisions. 5 FGs is a fluke situation. Mike White cleaned himself up in the 2nd half. We were down 20-6 in the first half. We could have gotten blown out, but he settled down and got the ball to the right people. Bam made big plays and looked WAY better than the RB we traded for. White missed some plays, but that's expected. I know we're still in the hunt now, but next year is going to be exciting. JetsandI Posted December 4, 2022 Share Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) I wasn't thrilled with this game. 5 out of 6 end zone events (included the final series despite outside 20) weren't converted into 30 points. That is painfully terrible. 20-15 swiss defense was stupid. Since Jets had problem with scoring TD with authority, containing Vikings in their own backyard was totally a must. At the end of the day, you were better than us and if there was a such a thing as a quality loss, this would be it.
